Cora was quite excited for her jumping clinics, knowing that she'd get to work with her students from pasts years, as well as new students. She admired the initiative of the students who had signed up, knowing that they were giving up a day of their vacation to better their skills in a class, rather than independently. She'd risen early to care for Fin, Remi, and Sophie, who she was still trying to find a good buyer for. She'd considered riding the mare in her hunter clinic, in hopes that one of the student would take an interest, but she'd decided against it, preferring to teach from the ground unless she had a reason to ride.
Having finished caring for all three of her horses, Cora gave Sophie a pat and collected her clipboard, pen, and hat from her tack locker, where she'd kept them. Fitting the cap snugly over her head and pulling her blonde ponytail through the back, she made her way out to the jumping ring where the students had been instructed to meet, having outfitted themselves and their horses properly for riding. She was dressed smartly in her normal uniform: field boots and a collared shirt tucked neatly into her breeches. She hoped that her students would dress just as respectably.
The classes weren't huge, which she preferred, and she hoped that they would have a very productive day. Most of the students were signed up for both of her clinics for that day, so they'd be doing a lot of work. Arriving in the ring, Cora climbed up on the fence to wait, greeting each student as they arrived and instructing them to mount and warm their horses up on the flat. She'd set up a hunter course for them that they'd be working over shortly. When her students began to arrive, she moved to the center of the ring, out of the way of their warming up.
