The Personality
Personality: Spot is very much a one person horse. She bonds very closely to one 'main' rider, and while others can ride her without problem if they are advanced enough, she acts up slightly more for them. Out in the pasture, she'd be the higher-middle ranking horse. She's rather excitable in ground-work, and needs to be reminded frequently of her manners while walking through gates or aisles. She needs to be supervised constantly when put out into the pasture, as she will sometimes jump out, and can jump upwards of 6 feet easily.
Notes: Do not put out to pasture without constant supervision.
The History
Basic History: Spot was bred out of a Belgian warmblood mare and a Grevy's zebra stud. She was raised by the couple that bred her, who taught her the basics of jumping. Once she was trained fully, her owners sold her to a person who collected exotic horses. There, Jennifer's teacher got into contact with the handler, and started asking questions about her. When the collector passed on, the handler remembered Jen's teacher's interest, and got into contact with her. The lady bought her and kept her, although she had trouble riding her. When Jennifer came back to riding, she started exercising the mare, then leased her, and finally bought her to bring her with her to Blue Ridge.
