Full History>> Carlos was born and raised in Salobrena, Spain, where he grew up living with his grandparents due to the fact that his parents jobs required them to travel and they couldn't very well take a child with them. Due to his parents rarely being around, Carlos barely recognized them when they did manage to visit and he grew up considering his grandpa and grandma as his surrogate parents. His grandparents owned several hundred acres where his grandfather raised and bred Lusitano horses, and growing up, Carlos was allowed to do and ride as he pleased with the horses.
Carlos didn't start off on a pony like most children, he was put on the 'big' horses from the time he was a toddler. He rode the mares, the stallions, and even made it his personal mission to ride all of the broodies, even though some of them had never had a rider on their backs at all. As a kid and teenager, Carlos suffered through many injuries and broken bones from riding, but he never gave up his love of riding or horses... He did develop a fear of needles, though, after being in the hospital so many times.
Carlos's grandparents land bordered the beach, and he also grew up with a love of the ocean and surfing, though he always enjoyed a good gallop across the sand with the horses. Even though he started out riding english and took english lessons, Carlos found that he preferred to ride bareback most of the time, though that could have just been because he always hated soaping saddles. When he was twelve, while helping his grandpa work on the roof of their home, he fell off the roof and broke his collarbone. Carlos has never liked heights since. Though he was allowed to ride any horse he wanted, Carlos did have his favorites. He fell in love with a mother and daughter pair and eventually managed to convince his grandpa to give him the horses.
Age thirteen also came with the appearance of the opposite sex... and the same. Carlos dated a few girls but, to his surprise, he found them to be too clingy. he was polite towards them, but couldn't get interested enough. On a whim, he went with a member of the same sex for a while and found that he enjoyed being with men more than women. Luckily for him, thoug,h he's managed to keep it a secret from his grandparents, because they would, in his own words, 'kill him'.
Now, this year, as a seventeen year old, Carlos is taking a plunge by coming oversea's from his 'comfort zone' in spain to attend BRRA for his final two years of schooling. As he is supposed to take over his grandpa's business one day, his grandpa deemed fot to send him to America, thinking it would be beneficial to Carlos.
