Full History>> Phoebe was born in Exeter, England. Her parents worked for the Mounted Police force, so she had been around horses most of her life. She started lessons when she was three, and loved it. Her parents thought it was a phase, and she might grow out of it, but when she asked for her own pony, arounf her fifth birthday, her parents agreed.
Sugarlump was her first pony, a dapple grey pony. His temper was sweet and forgiving, also loving. She trained hard with him, and when she turned seven, her riding instructor insisted she enter the beginners trails. All did not go to plan as during the cross country, she fell jumping over a ditch jump, landing funnily on her leg and breaking it.
With a broken heart she sold Sugarlump to her best friend, Louise who took good care of him. Phoebe then concentrated more on her studies, and passed her GCSEs with five As, one A* and a B. She then enrolled at Reaseheath College, a top riding college that the Queen herself has visited.
During her second year of her Foundation Degree, Pippa Funnell came to visit Reaseheath to see the new indoor riding school. Phoebe was teaching some first year students in the school at the time, under the supervision of her tutor. Pippa was impressed with her teaching ability, and approached Phoebe at break time, asking her to consider doing her third year apprentiship at her stables.
Her last college year came and Phoebe started teaching a Hill View Riding Academy, based in Yorkshire. She taught the various disciplines whilst teaching there, but had a knack at training Cross Country. After the year was up, she bid Pippa and her students goodbye, and left to find a new job.
Six years of hard studying paid off, and she left college with her Level 3 and Foundation Degree in Equine. It was hard getting a job when she was fresh from college, but she signed up to a riding academy in Kentucky, America and was accepted.
Now living at the Academy as a teacher in Cross Country, Phoebe encourages her students to strive, and loves watching them come and go.
We found love in a hopeless place
