Blue Ridge is a fictional town located deep in the heart of Kentucky. It is home to one of the most well known equestrian academies in the United States. Students and staff from all over the world join the academy for what it has to offer. Do you have what it takes to join us and learn from the Academy?

We had a special ed class come over for a field trip, so we let them brush Blaze, then gave them a tour of the centre. While they were having lunch, I had nothing to do, so I ended up grooming Fanci. After getting her mane untangled, Carole told me that there were some braiding bands in the tack shed, so of course, I had to go find them. X- D
Didn't turn out so well:
This is why I leave riding to other people. X- P But hey, it's my first time, so be nice.
Is that first braid black and white? Very nicely done Stern. I remember doing this with Cedar on days when he'd remain still for long enough (pretty much let me) braid his mane. Hate braiding, which is why I only entered winter shows (no braiding, or optional braiding policy).
Yes, it is. Her mane is actually two colours, her forelock is completely dark, and then a long section of white, and the last few hairs are black again.
X- P Hahaha. I had Fanci tied anyway to groom her, so she had no choice. X.x
So, I just thought I'd share, for everyone who was trying to help me figure out Fanci's breed.
She is gaited (At least officially). She's registered as having 75% Peruvian Paso (Don't know what the other quarter is). :- ) So that explains the odd gait.
I -really- need to pay more attention when I'm working her next time. X- P
Sadly I don't volunteer here anymore, as the program was shut down following a lack of instructors, but I do volunteer with other horses! You can find photos of them here!
