He grew up with a mother who showed her emotions to much and a father who never showed any kind of emotion, in the end he learned to just put up his own walls and not let people to close to save himself the trouble of caring the way his mother did.
After his mother died he changed some for the worst some for the better. Before she died he smiled more because he thought if he was happy it would be enough for her, but in the end that didn't work out. For a while if it weren't for his best friend Sarah and his horse Miles he would have been a very different person. He loves to win, but won't sacrifice his horse to do so.
He often enjoys the fact his father sends him money and nice things to try and buy his forgiveness, but he will never give it to him. He happily accepts the gifts. His father doesn't care if he spends money on clothing often believing the same thing. He has shaggy brown hair which he keeps because his mother loved it and his father hates it. His blue grey eyes often are what draw people to him and his mother used to say his smile could light up a room, but he hardly smiles the smile his mother loved, instead he tends to go with a cocky grin.

Full History>>
Sebastian was born to Joanna and Jonathan Walsh a very well off family. Jonathan came from money he was a great business man like his father before him, but Joanna hadn’t been born in New York City she had been born in Montana on a ranch. She had grown up loving her life never wanting to leave the farm, never wanting to leave her horses, but when Jonathan came through town he swept the young girl off her feet and the two married. Jonathan never saw more to her then her beauty and at first that was enough for Joanna. She left her beloved horse behind and all her friends to follow Jonathan back to New York City were she was quickly pushed into a life style she never thought she would ever life, but she did because she loved her husband. As time wore on Joanna’s light began to fade growing up she had always been the girl that smiled, but as the years flew by her smile didn’t show not the same as it did back on the ranch with her horses.
Four years into the marriage Sebastian was born, but after his birth it seemed Joanna turned for the worst. Doctors called it postpartum depression and said it happened to many mothers after having a baby. They gave her medicine to sent her on her way. As Sebastian grew up he loved to spend time with her mother, but even at a young age he knew when she was taking her medicine and when she wasn’t. Joanna seemed happy and would sing to him picking him up and dancing around the living room when she was on her meds, but when she decided to stop taking them she always had a sad look to her eyes. She would smile, but it wasn’t the same smile that made him want to smile. And she cried, she cried a lot.
When he was five his mother had taken him out of the city to go apple picking in a small town just outside of the city. It was one of the day’s Sebastian knew his mother didn’t take her meds she hadn’t taken them for a long time. Some how they ended up at a riding stable after making a wrong turn. When they stepped out of the car Joanna went to ask for directions, but got side tracked watching the horses. Still to this day Sebastian can remember his mother’s smile as she watched the young horses galloping around a pasture kicking up their heels. That was the first time he saw her smile a real smile without her medication.
Out walked the owner of the stable who took notice of the beautiful, but obviously out of place woman. She wore high heels and her outfit just screamed it cost way to much. When he walked up to them Joanna looked at him and smile the two began talking. Sebastian knew nothing of what they spoke instead he kept watching the horses happy that they had brought so much joy to his mother’s face.
It became routine to drive out to the farm every weekend Sebastian began taking lessons while his mother watched. He loved the way his mother kept smiling whenever they were at the stable together, but when they went home she quickly became the sad woman once more.
Bash took to ridding quickly he learned later that the talent came from his mother, while he never watched her ride he later heard stories that she began riding horses since before she could walk. At first he only enjoyed it because ridding made his mother happy, but he soon began to love it just the same. His father hated the sport and tried to push him towards others, but in the end the man gave up. He knew it would be a losing battle he and his wife and never even raised their voices at each other, she just always did what he said, but when he tried to forbid the ridding he saw something flash across Joanna’s face he hadn’t seen before and knew in that moment he wouldn’t win the fight.
Bash never had a good relationship with his father he was never really a father always gone, always working. Mark the owner and trainer at the stable began to take the spot that his father should have been. Joanna also grew close to the other man. By the time Bash was twelve he was already riding in many A-rated shows, he was able to have an upper hand to most kids his age because of his families money, he could always have an expensive well trained horse. Life was good, every weekend he and his mother escaped to the farm they stayed at Mark’s house right on the property and Bash learned how to take care of all the horses. At times Bash pretended that Mark was his father and that they would never have to go back to the city.
When he was eleven everything changed. For a long time he pretended he didn’t see it, but he knew that his mother and Mark and grown far closer then they should. The two were having an affair behind his father’s back. When Jonathan found out he was enraged, forbid them from the farm, told them they could never ride again. For two years Jonathan kept Joanna under a close eye she never could leave the house unless she had what Jonathan called a ‘body guard’ with her, but really it was just someone to watch her. Bash wasn’t allowed to ride anymore, without any way to get to the farm he felt lost. His father sold his imported Irish Sport horse and told the boy he would get into a real man’s sport.
When he was thirteen he met Sarah a girl from the park. She had been riding her horse through the park when the horse had spooked causing her to fall. He caught the horse without knowing who it belonged to and led it around the park in search of its rider. When he found Sarah she wasn’t hurt and the two hit it off. After that Sarah would always bring her mother’s horse to the park with her were Bash would join her and the two would ride together. Soon he was spending a lot of time with her she invited him to the stable they kept their horses at. That was were he met Necromancer. He was a five year old off the track thoroughbred that had been started under saddle. A family had bought him and expected a month of training and he would be perfect for their young daughter. That wasn’t the case, while Nico had went around for some time with the girl by the end of his first season he became a stopper. He would see a fence and stop four strides out and buck because he knew the child that rode him was just going to catch him in the mouth. He also learned a good buck made the girl fall off.
His sale price was only a thousand dollars, which was nothing to Bash so without thinking he bought the horse. With a lot of hard work and time through the winter by show season the two were really beginning to work as a team. He kept everything secret from his family. His father didn’t keep a close watch on him and often he would say he was with friends on the weekends when really he was at a show with Nico. This barn was different from Mark’s barn. Where Mark’s barn had been tailored to high-end horses and high end clients this new barn seemed more like a back yard, but it didn’t matter to Bash at least he was ridding again.
At their first A-rated show Bash bumped into Mark who was surprised to see the boy especially seeing him on a simple thoroughbred. Mark told Bash that if he wanted to secretly have a horse he had the perfect horse for him, after all Mark recognized Nico he told him had tried to train the horse. Mark said Nico was ruined, he hated to jump and didn’t have a future. Bash disagreed. He knew Nico inside and out by the end of the weekend he left Mark’s mouth dropped open. Mark came up to him and smiled, happy that Bash had showed him up he said he was proud of him. Bash smiled at his old trainer and father figure happy to have his approval.
That night Bash went home ready to tell his mother everything, but when he got to his apartment building he saw flashing lights. His heart dropped something was wrong. He rushed inside to find his father with the police looking upset. Joanna had taken all of her pills at ones. His mother was gone. He was crushed. In that moment he blamed his father, he yelled at him saying it was all his fault if he had just let her go she would still be alive.
After Joanna’s death Jonathan and Bash grew apart they always fought when they were near each other, he could never forgive his father. His father learned of Nico and for the first time in his life he did something right. He knew deep down that he would just keep pushing his son away so he gave in. Due to the fact they still didn’t get along Jonathan found a school that he could send his son. He agreed to send Bash to Blue Ridge Riding Academy with Nico hoping that one day his son would forgive him and maybe the two could be what a father and son should be.
