The Personality
Personality: Vladimir is a calm and relaxed animal most of the time. He is trusting of Colton and pretty much will do anything Colton asks of him. The only real problem the horse has in walking through water. Creeks and rivers. The horse does not like putting his feet in. It is almost as if Vladimir is cautious of the depth. He will cross water however, just with hesitation and slow exaggerated steps. Vladimir has a lo t of endurance and is happy to work. He loves to jump and sometimes does get a bit over eager. For his size, Vladimir is very graceful and easy on his feet. He is a playful boy who likes music, apples and hugs.
Caution Around: Dogs. Loud cars. Water.
The History
Basic History: Colton got Vladimir when he was a child and the horse was a foal. He was a gift. Colton right from the beginning wanted to do everything he could with the horse. Breaking in the saddle and the bit was done by a hired trainer but Colton got in on everything else. Boy and horse formed a powerful relationship. Colton was the only human Vladimir really trusted. Together they have won numerous ribbons and trophies. The horse has had no major injuries. No medical problems. He is healthy and ready for his next journey.
