The time was just around the corner and Phillip was far from ready to give up his lounging around time and trade it in for grading tests and assignments, but someone had to do it. He had a few ideas that he wanted to get setup before the first week of school. Papers needed printed out, plans needed put together, and most of all the classroom needed to be made to look like it wasn't an academic prison, which most children thought of it as such. Pulling out the key he unlocked his room and took a step in still looked barren as he left it on the last day of school.
Laying down the way decal he brought over on a desk he did a survey of his pencil and paper stash. It looked like everything needed replenished, not a big deal. Grabbing his class list he counted the amount of book he had for each level of algebra to make sure it would work for the amount of kids in each class and he sighed with relief to see that he was covered for all three classes even if new students graced him with their presence, which they always did.
His list of things he wanted to get done before school actually began was slowly becoming a few items, but those would take a longer period of time to complete, so he took a seat at his desk and got down to business.
