She is a performer at heart - the more audience, the better she moves and thinks. She's a smart cookie and not afraid to use that. She's a little picky about new people and riders, though, seemingly preferring her disabled rider above able-bodied riders. If you ask, she'll happily work for you, but if you demand it? Well, good luck. On the other hand, she's not a robot. She's not easily afraid, but she likes to spook every now and then, and rear up or buck or bolt - but if it's Kasper on her back, she's careful in it, making sure she won't actually throw her rider of.

Basic History>> Asscheleyne was bred to be a good performance horse; strong, cool character, willingness to work. All of that worked, but none of her riders clicked with her. She didn't quite perform up to par with her talents, so she was left rather much alone until Kasper saw her and fell in love. She wasn't an easy fix, but he got her moving pretty well, moving her up to the highest national level before his accident happened. He didn't want to separate from her yet, and thus once he got back on a horse asked a friend to retrain her and see if she would work for para-dressage work. Used for driving in the mean time, she adapted surprisingly well and ever since she's been Kasper's go-to horse.
