Personality>> Jay USED to be foul in nature, he was a gossip and a sneak. He would do anything to take someone down and he was someone you'll never want to get on the bad side of. Unfortunately, it didn't take much to irritate him and all hell breaks loose. He would dig for any dirt he can find on you, and he can ruin your life. He was cruel in the way he does things, taunting people and even blackmailing them if necessary. He's very smart and very quick witted, in an argument you'll never beat him. He's too cunning and way to quick for you. He can cut a person down to size in minutes, leaving them begging for mercy. (He kind of is still all of these things but toned down, after all he's a professional now!)
He doesn't need people, but does like to surround himself with friends. Being gay, he seems to get on with girls much better. The fact that he taunts every straight man he can find really doesn't help. Girls love that he can manipulate whoever they ask, and he always has the best gossip to share. To those who are close to him, he is very protective and loyal. He'll seek out anyone who has offended, or even stepped slightly out of line and rip them to shreds, verbally. He never physically fights, he doesn't need to. He can have people running away with their tails tucked between their legs without violence.
Jay is very intelligent, he doesn't try in his lessons but succeeds. It's not just in class, he's very quick witted and will always have a better comeback than yourself. He'll have something lined up for you when you're just getting started. But, he's also smart enough to know when to stop. If he feels necessary, he'll just walk away. Many people don't like it, but he builds up enough of a reputation that he can walk away and still be seen as the winner.
He USED to be a romantic and caring to his partners. Not anymore. During his first stay at BRRA he met whom he thought was the love of his life. Then, his ex suddenly disappeared of the face of the earth. Jay took it hard, and showed it to. He was silent for months, not showing his face. He then changed into kind of a one-night-stand, especially when he went back to Australia for a while. But Jay also knew he was doing it because he would never get over his ex. This made him angry, and he'd fly into fits of rage all of the time. While he is now over his ex, he has not had a serious relationship since. It's not his thing. He'd rather just have a one-night-stand and forget the guy ever existed the next morning.
As established, Jay is very very gay. He's flamboyant, and very in your face with it. He'll openly tease a straight guy just to make him uncomfortable. It brings him joy to see someone squirming. He used to be very vain, but it has toned down quite a bit since training to become a dentist. He spends too much time around horses working hard to worry about his appearance quite as much.

- Tried to kill himself on numerous occasions while going through his bad breakup. Was admitted to a mental hospital for 6 months.
Appearance>> At 5'3, Jay is very, very short for a man. He used to be almost scrawny, pale, with dark curly hair that was immaculately kept. He would dress perfectly, making sure everything was correct before leaving his room. Nothing could be out of place. Jay used to be very vain. Not so much anymore.
Now Jay is stocky, muscled, impressive to look at. All thanks to taking up boxing, his physique is enviable. He no longer hides under layers so much, he's not shy in wearing a wife beater. He's a lot more comfortable in his appearance, and it shows. He doesn't spend hours getting ready, doesn't go change if even a speck of dirt is on his clothes. He can wear his work shirt and jeans for a few hours after he's done work.
His trade mark curls are also no more, he keeps his hair short and neat. It's easier while he's working, especially when working with difficult horses. It doesn't get in the way and keeps him cooler. It also shows off his green eyes better, which makes finding those lucky guys to spend the night with that much easier. He's no longer cute, he's handsome. A label he's come to love.

Medical History>> Hospitalized for depression and other sensitive issues during a rough period in his life.
Criminal History>> Surprisingly, no.
Full History>> Living in Australia, it was sun, sea and sand every single day. He loved Australia. At six, his father died in a car crash. It crushed him. It made him harden, and thats why he's such a tough cookie today. His mother adored him though, she spoiled him and if he wanted something he got it. At fourteen he discovered he was gay. Nobody was really bothered about it, there had been suspicions all his life. The boy would rather play with Barbie's than Cars any day.
Suddenly deciding Australia wasn't for him anymore, at 16, Jay made the move to America to attend Blue Ridge riding academy. His first attempt at the school was fantastic, he gained a boyfriend and after a rocky start also found out that he had a half brother. However, things eventually crashed and burned. Hayden, his brother graduated. That was fine, though Jay was sad he was losing the brother he'd only just gotten to know. He dealt with it. What he couldn't deal with was his boyfriend disappearing without a single word to him. It broke Jay. While he stayed at the academy a while, only making contact with his one true friend Andie, he needed to go. He couldn't be there any longer.
Jay returned to Australia to get over the huge sense of abandonment he was buried under. It almost killed him, not that he'd tell anyone that. He ended up being admitted to a mental hospital. It took a year for him to finally pick himself up and get on with his life. To do that, he needed to go back to BRRA, get closure and finish his schooling. So he did. While he had to stay an extra year, and miss out on graduating with his best friend, he did it. He graduated from BRRA. He was proud of himself. And that dark part of his life was firmly locked away.
Jay decided about half way through his final year that he wanted to pursue a career in equine dentistry. He wasn't sure why or how he came to that conclusion, but he did. So he applied to a few places and was accepted. He told just his mother about his plans, and separated himself from the world to focus on his studies. The lazy student kicked himself up the butt and managed to graduate with distinction, something he's very proud of though he wouldn't admit that. Being proud of your schooling isn't cool, y'know? Then he heard through the grapevine (Andie's Facebook page) that BRRA was looking for a dentist. So he applied. And here he is. Again. What will the reaction be to this former notorious student, the legend that is Jay Robinson, returning to haunt his domain once more?

Personality>> Cookie is still the sweet, kind and quiet dog she has always been. She is Jay's shadow, she goes everywhere with him but whether you see her is another thing. She knows exactly when she shouldn't be seen or shouldn't be too close. But she's only a short whistle away, always watching and waiting for her master's next command. As soon as she sees someone she recognizes or immediately likes, she's showering them with affection and wants nothing more than to be petted by them. If she doesn't like you, she'll hide firmly behind Jay and refuses to move until you leave. She's getting worse with age in that sense, Jay has noticed.
History>> Cookie has been Jay's loyal companion for years. Given to him as a pup by a rancher, the pair instantly bonded. She has been with Jay through all of his ups and downs, moving with him to BRRA as a pup, moving back to Australia and back to BRRA again after Jay's breakdown. Then back to Australia she went, faithfully at Jay's side while he trained to become an Equine dentist. Now here she is, back in her familiar stomping ground, pleased as anything to be back. She may be a little grey-er, a little slower and a little more sore, but she's still a happy, sweet girl.
