Samie walked down the path towards the White Oak barn with her warm jacket wrapped around her to keep warm and cozy. She was wearing her old riding jeans that, surprisingly, still fits her and as well as some worn riding boots. She saw the barn in view as she thought about visiting Hex for a few since she had nothing else to do on this Friday afternoon. Glancing around, she looked for anyone she knew who might be lurking around. Yet since she never gets along with anyone as well, she didn't really stop her eyes at anyone in particular, especially since there was barely to no people near the barns in the distance the girl was standing at. She let out a deep sigh out in the winter tempature, making a white smokey cloud appear from the warm air she let out. Giving a light grin at the fun, she continued on her way towards the entrance of the barn.
Walking down the isle of stalls, horse after horse, she looked at each one of the differnt horse's characteristics. Soon settling in on a dappled grey gelding whose head was barely poking out of the stall door. 'Oh Hex, you shy rascal.' She thought with a teasing roll of her eyes. As she walked over to Hex's stall she got a shy nicker in greeting. "Come on, Hex. I know you can give me a better greeting than that!" She teased with a ghostly smile. She never really reveals her smile to anyone, but Hex. He's the only one who she can be a better person around. So the gelding was her pride and joy, if anything ever happened to him, it would literally be the end of the world for her. She offered her hand out to the gelding, watching as he glanced down hesitantly before pressing his nose against the warm offer. Grinning towards the animal, she thought about how she should head over to the feed room and give Hex his fill for the afternoon. She started to walk out onto the isle to the path of the feed room, when she almost bumped into a stranger, a boy.
She looked at the boy, knowing she has seen the student around the Academy before. "Excuse me, but would you mind watching where you're going?" She commented with little to no sympathy in her voice. 'People just don't know their manners' She thought to herself, rolling her eyes secretly, as she waited for some kind of talk back or apology from him.
