Shine a light through an open door
Full Name>> Bradley Oscar Grey
Nicknames>> Brad
Age>> February 14th 1997; 16
Staff or Student>> Student
House>> Blue Ribbon
Gender>> Male
Sexuality>> Heterosexual
Face Claim>> Jake Dalton
Turn away 'cause I need you more
Personality>> Cocky, arrogant and talented. Bradley is the guy everyone loves to hate. The dark haired gymnast just doesn’t give a flying monkey’s what people think of him and it gets him into trouble time and time again. He doesn’t have a filter and he doesn’t have a sense of danger. He just runs head first into things without thinking, and doesn’t really regret it afterwards either. He’s ruined a lot of chances for himself, but he gives nothing away in reaction. He just goes by the philosophy that if it is meant to happen, it’s meant to happen.
He’s one of those people who pick up things with incredible speed, which also means that he has a short attention span when it comes to most things. Brad grows bored quickly and becomes destructive. He becomes loud and obnoxious, one of his favourite pastimes being to annoy those around him. While he is a pain, he’s not a bully. Bradley isn’t one to go out and physically hurt a person, and neither will he insult them. He likes to win, and he’s very competitive, but he does it all above board. He believes in fairness, and won’t step over the boundaries of that.
In fairness to Bradley, he is a wonderful to those who stick around long enough to get past his rough exterior. On the inside, he’s a big goofball. He likes a joke and a prank, and he’s actually a lot of fun to be around once you get used to him. He’s also fiercely protective of his family, particularly his sister and mother. With his fame, it was his priority that Elsa and his mother did not get swept up in the chaos. He’s mature in the sense that he kept the concentration on himself rather than his family as much as he could. He didn’t like when he read slanderous stories of his family, which was when the real anger emerged inside the boy. This isn’t a common experience as Bradley, for the most part, is a calm, hard to anger male.
Girls are a big weakness for this handsome lad, and he never wastes an opportunity to chat them up. He’s smooth but he’s also a time waster. He will get what he wants and then leave, without a second thought. He has never been one to establish a strong relationship because nobody has ever captured his attention long enough. Maybe one lucky, or unlucky depending on how you look at it, girl will do so and be stuck with him some day. For now, the youngster is happy to mingle and go from girl to girl when he pleases.
Likes>> Gymnastics, Lemon (horse), girls, being loud, outdoors & chocolate
Dislikes>> Not being busy, silence, apples, the colour purple, restrictions & rodents
Fears>> Never getting back to the top & losing Lemon
Hopes>> Compete in the Olympics & Grow closer to his brother
Secrets>> He wishes he had been the one to live with his father, not Liam.
It’s the way I’m feeling I just can’t deny
Appearance>> To look at, Bradley is handsome. He’s got a fuller face, which is almost always lit with a cheeky, inviting grin. His eyes are hazelly green colours which are usually sparkling with mischief. His dark brunet hair is clipped short and has no need for anything to be done to it. Brad isn’t particularly tall, just passing the 5’7 mark but he has a body to die for. Muscled and broad, there’s a lot of power in this young man. There is no doubt that he trains hard, and his physique is something he’s very proud of.
He’s not the most fashionable guy. He’s usually in sweat pants and a hoodie or riding breeches and a hoodie. If made to make an effort, he’s a jeans a t-shirt kinda guy, or a button down at a push. He’s also got his faithful trainers that he tries not to go anywhere without. He’ll only exchange them for his riding boots. He always looks good though, it’s kind of effortless for this guy.
Markings>> N/A
But I’ve gotta let it go
Medical History>> Not really, just a few cuts that needed to be stitched up.
Criminal History>> Arrested for indecent exposure, public intoxication and underage drinking.
Full History>> Bradley was born in Silverthorne, Colorado. His father, a wrestling coach at the local high school, and mother, a beauty therapist, were trying to salvage their failing marriage with the birth of Bradley, their third child, but it was too little too late. They ended up divorcing just after Brad’s first birthday. While Brad has always known his parents to be apart, it has never really affected him. His sister, who was only two years older, didn’t really have an opinion about it either. While he and Elsa stayed with his mother, his oldest brother went to stay with their father. On the weekends, the siblings would switch houses, but most of the time Liam didn’t want to. Brad thought nothing of it, but it has been assumed that his lack of a constant male role model has impacted his personality today.
At the age of five, Brad’s mother enrolled him into gymnastics. This was mostly to get rid of the boy’s excess energy but it was a surprise for everyone when he took to it like a duck to water. The boy made things seem effortless and he was soon competing with the best of them. As his skills grew, Bradley had to be home-schooled. He didn’t mind so much, he was happy to spend his time in the gymnasium. He was competing all over the world by the age of ten, and then the fame came. Endorsements were thrown at him left right and centre, rocketing him higher and higher on the list of need to know people in the sporting world. This caused Bradley to grow cocky, too confident and an all-around pain in the backside. But he didn’t care. He honestly didn’t really care about the endorsements. The fame was cool, especially as he grew older and girls were brought into the equation, but he was quite content with just showing up people in competition. That’s what he liked. The gloating rights, the proving people wrong. This soon changed.
Although gymnastics were his main love, Bradley also has a soft spot for the equine sports. Namely cross country. While he started a lot later than he had with gymnastics, at the age of nine, he took to this as easily as he had with his first sport. Due to his lack of fear, Brad was more than happy to push himself. He fell off more often than staying on in the beginning, but he kept persevering. Three years ago, his parents agreed to buy him a horse if he promised to care for it himself without distracting himself from the gym and strict regimes. He agreed, and to his fairness, he kept to it. When he had weeks free from gymnastic competitions, he would compete with Lemon.
Two months ago, Bradley did something very stupid which changed the course of his career. He’d been at a party, something not unusual for the handsome male, but it quickly got out of hand. He was encouraged to drink and drink and eventually he was incoherent. Eventually he found himself stumbling down a street, naked and being arrested by the police. If you asked him to recall the memories of the night, he would have no clue. Word got out quickly, endorsements were pulled with fears of him being a bad role model and he was banned from competition for two months. It should have been longer but it was his agents parting gift to lower it. Now the boy finds himself pretty lost, though he doesn’t show it. He was expected to go to a normal high school, but Brad knew he wouldn’t do well there. After much begging, he persuaded his parents to allow him to attend Blue Ridge. The reason they accepted eventually? One Cara Kitchi. Brad had known of her for a long time, her face as recognizable as his own. If she trained at Blue Ridge, he could too. His old gym has since been forgotten. Brad has new goals now. He has every intention of getting back to the top. He doesn’t really care how, either.
We found love in a hopeless place
