Personality>> Penn is the typical giant, a great beginner horse for older riders. He is very mild mannered and has a graceful step. He does tend to be a back of the pack horse, letting others graze in a prefered spot before him. He is very polite and gentle when being handled. Penn is a slow mover when not on a jumping course. He isn't lazy, he just likes to take his time to smell the roses so to speak, If offered a carrot he will ginger take it. Though the poor thing does get spooked around small, energetic children, he would rather avoid them than bite them... though he is known to nip if they are too persistent.

Basic History>> Penn was born on a neighboring farm that didn't have room for the young colt. Korey's aunt Lacey bought the foal for her oldest daughter but the girl didn't take much of an interest in the horse and her younger children inadvertently tortured the thing, thinking it cute when the horse would run from them. Even though their mother put a stop to it Penn always remembered and is now cautious around young children. Lacey took a firmer hand in teaching the horse jumping and he placed well in his first show. When the small Mercer family came to live on the ranch, Korey took an instant liking of him, and her aunt taught her how to ride on him.
