Personality>> Jessie’s personality can seem to change, often depending on who he is with and what mood he is in. At first he can seem pretty quiet, the sort of boy that keeps to himself and does his own thing, in actuality he’s just a little shy and it takes him a while to have the confidence to speak up. However, once he has gotten to know someone and got his confidence around them his true self really starts to show; a cheerful, bubbly young man who is friendly and just like any typical teenage boy. He jokes, laughs and plays around just as much as any teenager.

Appearance>> Jessie is a typical enough teenage boy, with a reasonably handsome face and a slim figure. His brown hair is slightly wavy, though sometimes he does take the time to straighten it and make himself look good but most of the time he keeps his hair hidden under a hat to save himself the trouble. He often smiles, the sort of smile that appears not only on the mouth but even in the eyes, which are a strong and warm shade of brown that almost perfectly matches his hair. He does tend to stay up late binge watching TV shows, which means that he often has dark circles under his eyes, which are made more obvious by his somewhat pale complexion.
Markings>> Small scar on head from the accident, but this is hidden by his hair.

Full History>> There was nothing particularly out of the ordinary for Jessie’s childhood, he had loving parents, and an adorable younger sister. His was a happy sort of family, the type of traditional family that sat and ate their meals together at the table while discussing the day’s events, and spent their weekends out in the country having picnics and playing games, or at least that was the case until Jessie was nine years old.
It was the weekend before his tenth birthday, and the family had just spent their Saturday at the zoo and were taking the long drive home. It had been an enjoyable day, his young sister had just fallen asleep and he was talking to his father, he would never remember now what they were even talking about, but he recalls the soft deep voice of his father, and the light chuckle he gave. Jessie never found out what had happened, the car suddenly lurched and there were two glaring headlights in front of them.
He doesn’t even remember running away, confused, in pain and unable to recall what had just occurred he ran from the scene and vanished from that life. He found his way to a city, with only a vague memory of who he was. For a very short time he was nothing more than a street urchin, but without the smarts to steal and finding himself grossly unsuited for city life it wasn’t long before he was picked up by social services and adopted by a wonderful young couple that were unable to have children. Over the years his memory from before the accident did return to some extent, but he moved on passed that to enjoy his new life with the Robertson’s. His new mother was a horse lover, and had a beautiful mare of her own that he was allowed to ride sometimes, starting a new passion for Jessie. This of course led to him being sent to Blue Ridge.

Personality>> Chopper is, as most ferrets are, a cheeky and playful creature that enjoys the company of his human and loves to steal things. Chopper was a rescue pet, and can be nervous of some people at first, but with people he knows he can be a very enthusiastic and is likely to climb up their leg in order to find the cuddles he wants. Although he can occasionally nip in play Chopper very rarely bites. He enjoys baths, finding a paddle and splash to be of great amusement, and is a clean pet, although his constant stealing can make him a less desirable room-mate. Additionally he is, like many ferrets, an excellent escape artist.
History>> As many children do Jessie wanted a dog, and although his adoptive parents did want to give him everything they could it was an unfortunate issue that his new father had a horrible fear of dogs and refused to allow one into the house. In hopes of finding a compromise they took Jessie to the local animal shelter, where cats, rabbit and even rats could be found up for adoption. It was a young ferret that caught Jessie's eye, bouncing around his cage with a playful energy his movements were similar to those of a dog, and he was a very cute animal. So it was that they adopted him, it was estimated at that time that the ferret was around eight months old, and unlike many ferrets he didn't get on well with others of his own kind, which had made him difficult to rehome. However he and Jessie found they enjoyed one another's company greatly, and Jessie found that he could walk Chopper, train him and play with him much like he would have a dog, making the ferret a fantastic pet.
