The dirty, old yellow cab rolled with surprising silence up the drive toward the academy. In the back lounged a young male who looked ready for bed. It was late, his flight had been delayed due to snow, and all he wanted to do was sign in and go straight to bed. Rubbing his sleep bleary eyes as the car drew to a halt, he carefully lifted himself out of the car. It was already dark, but he could see that there was still a light on in the office. He felt a little sorry for whoever had been made to stay up to greet him, but soon forgot about that when he lifted his suitcases out of the trunk of the cab. Paying the driver, he thanked him sleepily and then checked his phone to see if he had an update on Lemon, his beloved mare. Looking relieved to see that she would be starting her trip to the academy tomorrow, he let himself into the office.
During the journey to the academy, Bradley had mulled over what exactly had brought him here. The world class gymnast, who in fact was just that, had managed to get himself shunned out of the community of the sport he loved. His gym had disowned him due to a stupid mistake, but he found himself unable to regret it. Bradley had finally settled on it being their loss. He now got to train with the one and only Cara Kitchi. Not many people could say that. Bradley smiled hugely as the thought re-entered his mind. He couldn't wait to get in that gym tomorrow. With Lemon still a few days away, he had a good while to get settled into a routine before she arrived. That was perfect for him.
Approaching the desk where a beautiful blonde was sat, Brad mustered up enough charm for the woman even in his exhausted state. Soon he found out his room number and was given his key and a map to help him around the academy. When offered to go to the blonde haired woman, whom he'd learned was called Miss Harris, if he needed any help he just winked. "I sure will, beautiful." He smiled charmingly, grinning mentally when he saw how flustered Miss Harris had grown. He bid her goodbye soon after, gathering his suit cases once more and traipsed to Blue Ribbon Dorm which he would call home for at least the next two years.
