Personality >> Most people don't realize that Wyo is a stud if they just meet him out and about (anatomical features aside). He is relatively well-mannered when people who know how to handle him are in charge, although he does test them or forget himself. He loves being ridden and being groomed, and generally behaves well unless he's distracted by a pretty mare passing by. Under saddle, with the right bit and rider, he can share an arena easily with anything. He was trained to be a gentleman in the breeding shed, although he gets noticeable more energetic when his leather halter is brought out.

Basic History>> Like his name would imply, Wyo is from the Student line of stallions. He was born in New Hampshire, and it was decided to keep him and evaluate him as a stud, so he wasn't gelded. After a good amount of time, he had proven himself in the ring, and it was decided to see what his first foal crop would look like. The quality was evident, and so Wyo was allowed to retain his manhood. However, when his owners wanted to retire from collections and sending semen, they started looking for a place to put Wyo instead. He was donated to Blue Ridge for the school's use, with the understanding that his previous owners would be able to continue to get collections for their needs. He has been used for live cover as well as AI, so requires the use of a Missouri AV.
