Personality>> Hot is the easiest way to describe this boy. He's always ready to go, even if you're just bringing him in the field. He can have a tendency to bounce off of the walls with energy if he's not worked regularly, but constant work calms him a bit. He can be a little bit barn-sour when heading out onto the trails (doesn't tend to be a problem if there's jumps in front of him), although he gets over it further into the trail. He gets along well with any horse in the pastures, adapting to what their preferences in activity are, even if that means just giving them a wide berth as he runs circles around them. If they join in his chase, though, all the more fun! He does have problems with anything touching his legs that he isn't expecting, be it plant matter or a dropped lead rope.

Basic History>> Even as a newborn, Singer was causing trouble, or at least, so it seemed, judging by the commotion around his stall. However, his life didn't really turn any less eventful after that. Sure, he grew up relatively normally, left alone to mature except for groundwork training, and then slowly introduced to saddle and rider. However, at the age of four, things suddenly changed. He was thrown into a large vibrating hull, and when he came out, even the air didn't seem like home. However, he settled in well enough, and was soon enough back at his antics, and being trained at the same time. Somehow, his life always changes in four years, and now he's back on a transport, being moved who knows where, to a new place.

Personality>> Oil is a bit of a cuddle-bug. He loves hanging around the two-legged ones, or around dogs if he is introduced to them slowly. He has a very easy-going temperament, not too flighty, although there's a bit of spunk in him! He has nearly unending stamina, and would run until he dropped if asked. Loyal to the end, that's another way to describe him. He is very sensitive to aids, and actually reacts worse to a heavy hand than a light ride. His intelligence is both a boon and a curse, as it allows for quick learning... Which is both good and bad. He picks up bad habits really quickly along with the good! (His most recent one is figuring out his old stall latch.) He was always a bit on the smaller side of the horses he grew up with, so he's more than happy to pick his fights if he needs to.

Basic History>> Where better to look for an endurance horse than... At an endurance farm? Oil was born to an Arabian breeder who not only focused on breeding for endurance, but also took part in it himself! As a one-time winner (and seven-time completion) of the Tevis cup, he certainly knew what to look for! And, from his winning stud, came Oil, among others. He was started at the age of five, and introduced to short training rides, gradually getting longer. He had competed in a few endurance races already, and proven himself a decent mount, but then when his breeder came into financial difficulties when he was nine, he was offered for sale. Ráhel picked him up, as she had been looking to get into endurance more seriously, and started training with him more, as well as introducing him to the cross country course (which he did not take to very well). Now, he's on his way to Blue Ridge with Ráhel, although she hopes to head back west with him eventually to take their own stab at the Tevis cup.

Personality>> Walking by Kaitain's stall, the one thing you'll notice is this mare's mean face. She'll pin her ears and paw, glaring at you the whole time. However, she's not exactly serious about her threats, and has learned to give the person entering her stall space. Once you're out of her stall, she's perfectly fine and well behaved, although she throws in a mean face occasionally just for the fun of it. She has to wear a red ribbon in her tail because she does kick out occasionally at other horses behind her.

Basic History>> Kaitain is a handful of a horse, that was bred at the same farm as Oil. When Ráhel was considering trying to train an endurance horse herself, working them up, the owner of the farm was honest with her - Kaitain had the most potential, but she would be a pain to work with. Ráhel, of course, decided to take on the challenge, and so Kaitain was shipped out to Blue Ridge.
