Blue Ridge is a fictional town located deep in the heart of Kentucky. It is home to one of the most well known equestrian academies in the United States. Students and staff from all over the world join the academy for what it has to offer. Do you have what it takes to join us and learn from the Academy?

I don't even know how it happened, but I threw my lower-back out last week.
Woke up Tuesday and my back was killing me, so I took off to the doctors. Many X-rays later, doc came in and told me I'd messed up a lower disk in my spine and it was inflamed and acting like a slipped disk.
I got meds and was sent home with orders to stay on bed-rest for the next week and to take Flexeril (muscle relaxers) and Tylenol/Codein pills every four hours.
Well, come to find out, muscle relaxers put me to sleep for 10+ hours a day and the Tylenol/Codein pills knock me out for 8+ hours a day...
I've probably slept more than I've been awake this past week and today is the first day I've felt like getting up... I've missed four days of work, a full week of college, and most of my life this week.
My cousins went horseback-riding without me yesterday and I wanted to go soooo badly... but couldn't...
I have fifty pounds of horse feed and a salt block in the car that needs to be put in the barn and in the pasture... and I cant do that because I can't lift anything heavy for the next two weeks...
I haven't even seen or fed my horses their grain this week because I've been so out of it on meds and pain that I couldn't hardly move...
I'm glad that they put you on decent painkillers, even if they are knocking you out so much.
Surely there has to be someone that can take your stuff to the paddock for you, because (talking from personal experience), I'd leave it a little longer then two weeks before you pick up anything heavy.
I'm going to recruit my huge, 250lbs ALL-MUSCLE cousin Willie to help me if I can ever catch him at home and not doing anything (he has three young kids, a wife, and works until after dark most days...).
If not, I'll have to find/recruit someone else... if I can ever catch anyone at home, lol... It's just a matter of finding family members at home and not busy.
