Personality>> Vrai is a gentle giant. He loves humans, and acts more like a puppy dog than a horse at times. He will constantly follow people around in the pasture begging for attention, and will have to be pushed away before he gets the message. He likes to work, though he does dislike cross country. Vrai is very willing and would do anything his owner asked, even if he wasn't sure of the cues. He can get hot in the show ring if his rider doesn't stay calm so he's not for a beginner or even intermediate rider. He is highly intelligent and will pick up on any mistake if it's repeated and one has to be careful to keep him from anticipating movements.
Caution Around>> Cross country(tends to throw bucks after a jump or two)
Putting on a girth/tightening it(throws faces but has never actually bit someone because they were tightening the girth)
Basic History>> Born at a breeding farm in Versailles, France Vrai was the offspring of a famous show jumper. He was sold at one year old and was beginning training at three. Within a few years, he was showing at local and beginning dressage and show jumping shows. His owner also tried a few cross country courses with him, but he didn't do as well as he did in the dressage ring or in a show jumping ring.
He was put up for sale at eight when Tony saw him, and arranged to buy the gelding. He stayed in France for a year before being shipped to Michigan where he stayed at a local farm and a girl leased him while Tony was serving. Tony came back to Michigan after a year and moved Vrai to Kentucky because he was accepted as the school's French teacher.
