Personality>> Lucas is a soft-spoken person at times, but most of the times he loves talking about things that he has an interest in. Also, unlike most people at BRRA, he has no interest in talking about horses, but he can make small talk about them if he has to, though he doesn't enjoy doing so. Lucas isn't happy about coming to Blue Ridge, but he'll tolerate seeing as it's one of the only ways he can maybe convince his mom and dad to let him quit riding. He's not normally the jokester in class and is more serious in class than most.
He takes his homework seriously, and doesn't normally procrastinate on things unless he doesn't like what the subject is...in which case, procrastination is his new best buddy. Papers or essays, count on Lucas to write it and turn it in a few days before it's due. Unless he dislikes the topic of the paper, he'll normally spend hours on it though if he doesn't like the topic he'll write the paper an hour or two before it's due.
Lucas is not a jokester and he doesn't have a sense of humor at all, so any jokes or sarcasm are completely lost on him. Since he doesn't have a sense of humor, anything someone says that they mean as humorous Lucas will take seriously. Lucas doesn't get angry at someone unless they give him a good reason to be mad, and he doesn't anger easily. Lucas hates bland foods, and likes his food spicy. The spicier the better in his opinion.

Appearance>> Lucas is more comfortable in jeans and a polo shirt than anything. He doesn't like dressing up for special occasions. Lucas has blonde hair that's cut relatively short and dark blue eyes. Lucas normally wears tennis shoes with jeans and a polo shirt, though if it's too hot for jeans he'll wear shorts instead. Lucas wears jeans when he's riding, no matter if he's showing or just riding in the pasture. At fourteen, Lucas is pretty tall for his age, standing at 5'6" though he'll be 5'9" when he's done growing. Lucas has tan skin that comes from swimming and working outside.

Full History>> Lucas was born in a hospital in Houston, Texas to two loving parents. His mother owned a travel agency and his father was a professor at one of the universities, so they made pretty good money. When he was one year old, Lucas became an older brother. His little sister's name was Theresa and Lucas and Tess were never really that close. If his parents were away on vacations, Lucas normally spent his time with his aunt Sarah. She wasn't really his aunt in blood, but Lucas called her 'Aunt Sarah' all the same. Lucas grew up riding horses, and at first he began to enjoy riding. Lucas loved spending a week or two with his aunt, he got to ride as much as he wanted to, and his aunt Sarah normally gave him reining tips. For reasons Lucas has yet to know, every time he asked about barrel racing his aunt always changed the topic. Lucas knows just to avoid the topic now, and doesn't ever bring up barrel racing.
Lucas did well in school, though he always struggled with history. His grades were always good, though so his parents never worried much about the fact that his history grade was always a little lower than the rest. When he was thirteen, Lucas began to hate showing and horse back riding but he could never convince his parents to let him quit. He started hating horses after he was riding, and his horse spooked when a gun went off. His mom's horse wouldn't stop, and as he wasn't a reining horse, didn't understand the meaning of "Whoa!" when yelled. The horse just kept running, and Lucas was starting to come off. Lucas had no choice but to bail off as the saddle started slipping, and there was a hole up ahead. He very nearly got stepped on by the galloping horse, forgetting to roll when he bailed, and when he got up the horse was fine. Lucas was fine as well, though he did have a few scrapes on his hands from hitting the ground and the visor of his helmet broke off, but after that, Lucas hated horses. He never really trusted them again after the accident, and lied to his parents about how he got the scrapes on his hands saying that he cut them when he put the western saddle back. His parents never understood why Lucas wanted to quit riding, but figured it was just because he was a teenager and going through the teenage mood swings. Lucas never wanted to ride again, but he never told his parents about that day.
His grades started dropping from As and Bs to Bs and Cs and his parents started looking at different schools, hoping to find one that would give him the education they were paying for. His mom and dad came upon Blue Ridge Riding Academy, and having heard about it from Sarah, decided to take a closer look into the school. Lucas' parents showed the school, and told him the school had really good academics. Though the academy was expensive, his parents felt that it was worth the money if Lucas got an excellent education and got into a good university. Lucas didn't really want to go seeing as if was an equestrian academy but his parents struck a deal with him, that if he applied to Blue Ridge Riding Academy and got accepted that if he hated riding at the beginning of his junior year, that he could quit. It was a deal that eh couldn't turn down, so Lucas applied to Blue Ridge Riding Academy and was accepted. Now, at fourteen, Lucas will be heading to Blue Ridge Riding Academy.
