Personality>> River is a fairly easy going horse. He's the type of horse you could place just about anyone on and he'd do anything you'd ask, even if it was out of his disciplines. He's extremely smart, but he also might just be too smart for his own good. He's a friendly gelding and gets along with almost everyone. River does try to get away with things, such as eating on the trails or rubbing, if you're not paying attention. He tries to be sneaky, but he's kind of a big goof, so it doesn't work out very well. He is easily a horse for a beginner, but he is smart enough to achieve more.
Caution Around>> He knows how to unlock the standard lock on his stall door, so there has to be an extra secure lock for him.
Basic History>> River was born on a breeder's farm, and handled very nicely. The breeder's farm sold him to a couple who took him to a trainer and got him well suited. The trainer worked wonders with this beast, though he wasn't very difficult in the first place. After his training was completed, the couple showed him a few times, but then decided they wanted a different horse. They sold River to Alaina's parents, where he has spent the rest of his life. Alaina started showing him almost as soon as she got him, despite not really knowing what she was doing at first. The horse was patient with her though. She took lessons on him and learned quite a bit about riding. They've been riding together ever since and Alaina decided to bring him with her to Blue Ridge.
