Barn Name>>Sol
Age>>12
Sex>>Gelding
Breed>>Andalusian
Breed Registry>>ANCEE
Coat Colour>>Chocolate palomino
Stable Colour>>dark green
Height>>16.1Hh
Personality>> Sol is very intelligent, docile, and sensitive. He cares about his riders, but he tests them a lot to see what he can get away with. It takes him a while to get used to a new person riding him, and he's very willing to try new things. If what he's being asked to do isn't clear enough, he'll try his best but he may get mad and swish his tail or something. He'd never intentionally hurt anyone and he loves to play with other horses in the pasture. Sol likes being outside rather than in a stall because he loves to play even at his age. Sol's not spooky at all and he's pretty bombproof. It takes a lot to make him spook.
Caution Around>>geldings, jumps
Basic History>> Sol was born at a PRE farm in northern Spain. He was the son of two world-renowned Andalusians, and was supposed to be a jumper. Sadly, when broke, he decided that he wasn't going to jump and there went that idea. Sol was sold after getting training in dressage to a western rider from America who was in Spain. He was trained in the art of western riding and gelded at the age of eight. Sol took the reining alright, but he excelled at western dressage. As the years went on, he got only better at western though dressage would always be his strongest discipline. At 10, he was put up for sale after his owner decided to move back to America. Sol was bought by Caitriona's dad for a Christmas present. Caitriona and Sol didn't get along when they first met, but after a year the two bonded together great. Sol moved to America with the Maldonado family.
