Personality>> Amber is usually very shy and nervous. When meeting new people, she always fears that they will not like her. Around adults, she is always afraid of doing something wrong. She always follows the rules, but she puts her brother’s rules above all others.
She is very dependent on her older brother, doing whatever he says, and fearing his wrath. She loves her family, even her mother, and can be very protective of them. She loves her brother most of all and plans to be with him forever. She considers him her best friend and she does not plan on that ever changing.
When playing the piano or violin, she is more confident than usual. When riding or working around horses, she is more confident than she is when doing anything else.

Appearance>> Amber is short for her age and stands about four feet tall. She is also rather skinny and weights no more than ninety pounds. She has long blond hair, which she always wears down and tucks behind her ears before putting on a riding helmet but lets it fall wherever it wants the rest of the time. She usually wears leather boots, jeans or riding breeches and a button down shirt and sometimes a jacket. When she’s not riding she will sometimes wear a skirt or even a simple dress, although she’ll never wear a fancy one, and either flats or bare feet. She never wears any make-up for any reason.

Medical History>> Amber was born prematurely and one of her lungs never developed. Her single lung was strong enough that she never needed a second one. The side effects included a permanently high pitched voice and getting out of breath easily.

Full History>> Amber was born prematurely and the doctor told her parents that she would die soon. Fearing that she would get attached to her daughter and then she would die, Mrs. Fletch refused to see her daughter, or even look at the picture that her husband took of her. Two weeks later, once she was assured that her daughter was not going to die anytime soon, Mrs. Fletch finally agreed to see her daughter. When she did, she did not feel the instant attachment that she felt when her son was born and she knew that she had waited too long. When Amber big brother, who was four years older than her, was finally allowed to see her, he soon became attached to her and him and his father showered Amber with affection, making her mother jealous.
As a toddler, Amber used to sit by the piano when her father played. She was only three when he brought out a beginner piano book, set her on his lap and began teaching her how to play. She caught on quickly. When she was older she started playing the violin too, but the piano was always her favorite.
When her father was home Amber and her brother would occasionally get a time out. When was he away at work, it would be the same for her brother but their mother would give Amber a spanking for every little thing. If they both got in trouble together then she would punish Amber by making her get a spanking and punish her son by forcing him to give it to her.
Mrs. Fletch had had a bad experience in the public school system, as a kid, so she decided to homeschool her children. This also allowed her to have more control over them, which she enjoyed.
Growing up, Amber’s brother spent a lot of his free time playing with her. He also had some other, male friends, and would sometimes leave her alone and go to play with them. Amber was not given the opportunity to make friends.
When she got older, her father started going away on business trips more and more often. When her mother decided that Amber was too old for a spanking, she got a belt to whip her with instead. Around that same time, her brother began distributing corporal punish on her, without being forced too, whenever he thought she had done something wrong.
Ambers mother used to force her to compete in beauty pageants. The only portion that Amber liked was the talent portion, but she was sometimes eliminated before that. The worst part about it was that if she did poorly then her mother would punish her when they got home. One time, when she was nine, her mother did not want to wait so she whipped her in the backseat of the car, to the extent that she bled. Someone saw this and reported it. Mr. Fletch, who was very angry at his wife and ashamed of himself for having failed to notice that this was going on before, took his kids and moved away, and then failed for a divorce.
There was a stable nearby their new home. Amber had always loved horses, and her brother also really liked them but not as much as Amber did. Their father signed them up for horse riding lessons. They got really into it. They originally had lessons once a week but it later changed to three times a week and they would sometimes even compete at shows.
A downside to living with their father was that he sent them to school. Amber didn’t like school. Her brother told her not to speak to any of the other kids when he was not with her, and he rarely was because he was three grades above her. When the other kids realized that she was not interested in making any friends, they began to tease her. Amber struggled with her school work. Her brother did not, because their mother had spent a lot more time educating him then her. He tried to help her but he mostly ended up doing her homework for her.
When her brother went away to college, he came home every weekend but he was gone over the weekdays and Amber got really lonely. He father thought that a change in environment would be good for her.
