Personality>> Fer is a generally shy character, but can be friendly with the right initiative from others. He doesn't often speak when spoken, but if he does, he prefers that people listen to him. Not everyone does though. Feralas always looks out for the well-being of his horse, and in turn, he expects that his horse obey and love him. He's a HUGE horse-lover, and a few rows in his room dedicated to the entire species. Not to mention he's a large book-lover and he has piles of them stacked behind his bed. Feralas can also be manipulative, twisting his words and slipping in subtle half-truths to protect himself.
Feralas holds the belief he has a good heart, so he often goes out of his way to help others and be a hard-worker. He can be perfectly oblivious at times, and because he is asexual, he can easily frustrate others when they flirt with him. They just don't understand that he's more attracted to guys anyways, or that he's not interested in sex at all.

Appearance>> Feralas is short. Unlike his face-claim, who is six foot two inches, Fer is approximately five feet one. He has around the average weight, which is ninety-eight pounds. He isn't particularly handsome, but he has hazel eyes that appear nearly golden on a slightly strong face. His dark brown hair is short, and he has some stubble coming in as a side-burn. Feralas is usually found wearing some kind of dark blue jeans or khaki shorts and a random t-shirt with a sweater that is larger than it's supposed to be. He has Nike shoes too. To events, Feralas wears tan jodhpurs, cream dress shirt and a black riding jacket. His boots come up to his knees and are black, as well as his helmet.

Medical History>> He had a nasty bout of the flu when he was seven, and at eleven, he had his first broken bone by way of a broken shoulder from being bucked off.

Full History>> Feralas James Hemingway was born October 30th, 1998 at 11:58 PM. His parents, Franklin Dartmouth and Olivia Holte, were too young to raise him, so he was adopted by Theodore and Kylie Hemingway a few days later. His father had been slightly inebriated the day he was adopted, so was dubbed the name 'Feralas' probably because of Theodore's love for World of Warcraft. Fer grew up very much loved and an extremely happy child. He was shy though, and since he didn't go out much, it often felt awkward to be around kids his age. When he was seven, he came down with an extremely nasty bout of the flu, and Feralas was out of commission for a couple of weeks. He even fainted because of dehydration after taking a hot bath.
At eight years of age, Feralas had already grown up around horses, so he already loved them with every fiber of his being. His birthday marked the day that he got his first horse. Little seven year old Hestia Hearthfire, or Hestia for short, was given to him. They became extremely close very quickly. Within the next three years, Fer worked on jumping and racing with Hestia. A few weeks after his eleventh birthday, Fer was able to help his family train a new gelding that had been brought in.
Two days later, Fer found himself in the hospital with a broken shoulder for being bucked off. Ever since, Feralas wasn't allowed to train another horse. He sulked thoroughly for the first few months, but he eventually got over it. His life was basically pretty happy up to the point where he got his acceptance to Blue Ridge academy at fourteen.

Personality>> Dante is like his owner, a little shy, but friendly if given the incentive. Unlike his owner, Dante can be a little irritable and he hates being touched by anyone other than Feralas. He used to be a show cat, so Dante is high strung and tends to flip out at the littlest thing. However, he's very intelligent and extremely obedient. This was the reason why Feralas was able to bring him to Blue Ridge.
History>> Dante's Inferno was adopted by Feralas Hemingway at the young sprightly age of two weeks. After the birth of kittens in the Hemingway home, Feralas was able to pick one out because he thought they were so adorable. Thus, he picked out Dante. Dante was officially named Dante's Inferno when he was two months old. Being one of the most handsome purebred cats of the litter, he was often taken to shows by Feralas's mother, something Fer wasn't happy about. [Since he's a calico cat, Dante is sterile.]
