Personality>> Mars needs to look his best before he goes out for a ride. It doesn't matter if it's a hack or at a show. He loves being pampered and properly groomed, so he is kind of like a beauty King. He has a very good eye when it comes to jumping, but is a klutz when it comes to flat work, which is why he didn't make it as an eventer. He hates knocking down rails but he loves galloping between fences, which means Nikki has to be careful to make sure he is going the correct pace. Mars loves people and other animals as well. He is also sensitive and senses the emotions of the rider on or beside him.

Basic History>>Mars was born at the Kingston stables. He was well handled as a foal by humans and loved life. When he began his training, Nicole's grandparents wanted him to be a three day eventer under their top trainer. He loved cross country and show jumping but couldn't ever get a grasp of dressage. He would keep tripping over his feet when asked to even do the basic dressage moves, but he can properly do hip ins, shoulder ins, serpentines and circles. When Nicole was old enough to get involved with his training, she got him off of the eventing circuit and into just doing show jumping. He loved jumping with Nikki so much, that her grandparents gave him to her as a going away to boarding school present. They competed together this past summer for the first time and are planning to compete with the Blue Ribbon team as soon as they can. He has always loved being groomed, because Nikki spent so much time doing it. Unlike many other horses, the vet and farrier are probably his two favourite people, since that is what Nicole's grandparents are.
