Nicknames>>Jen

Personality>>Jennifer is a very friendly person. She has a unique sense of humor, and that humor leads her to only have a few people who are her friends that understand it. Her humor can almost be a little dark at times. Jennifer likes listening to music and dancing, although she finds it hard to do the modern dances that most teens do at parties. Jennifer either does ballroom dancing or just stands there and looks awkward at parties, so she didn't go to a lot of school dances when she was in high school. Jen is normally quite talkative, though when it comes to dancing, she's completely focused. Jennifer loves dancing and she wants people to have fun dancing, but she also wants people to be focused because to her, there is nothing harder to teach than dance if people aren't focused on what they are supposed to be doing.
Jen loves watching YouTube videos when she has spare time, and she's been known to try her hand at cooking although she has burned water so she tries her best to stay away from the kitchen in any house or apartment. Jennifer hates not sleeping well, especially before a competition since it stresses her out. She's not normally majorly stressed out over anything, but she gets stressed before a dance even if she can perform the dance in her sleep. If she's stressed out majorly, it's usually because she doesn't get enough sleep and has to function. Jennifer has been known to sleep in late if she doesn't have an early practice or competition, and wake up five to ten minutes before she needs to leave and take a quick shower and throw on clothes before leaving.
Likes>>Playing the flute, her VW Bug, the Harry Potter series, songs by Bastille/current music in general, the Hunger Games series
Dislikes>>Burning, politics, tennis shoes, getting little to no sleep and having to function, the Divergent series
Fears>>Her fiancé calling off the wedding and injuring herself and not being able to dance or compete again
Hopes>>To still have time to practice and dance herself and to make a good impression on her students and be an excellent instructor
Secrets>>Plagiarized an AP European History paper in senior year of high school
Appearance>>Jennifer has longish red hair and green eyes. Her hair goes down to the middle of her back, but she gets it cut every time it gets too long so she can donate some of it to people who need wigs. Jennifer gets it cut to her shoulder blades, so it's long enough that she can pull it back if she has to, plus the added bonus of getting rid of some of her thick hair. Her skin is pale, and like most people with red hair, she has to wear a lot of sunscreen to prevent from burning. Jennifer stands at a height of 5'6" and she has long legs with a short torso. Her hair is usually pulled back for dancing, but she will occasionally leave it down, especially for competitions or when she's not dancing. Jennifer can always be found wearing heels, normally heels that she can dance in, and none of those 7 inch stilettos. The highest heel she wears is three inches or less for dancing, and she doesn't feel comfortable wearing anything higher.
Jennifer wears a lot of dresses outside of dancing, and when she's practicing Jennifer wears leggings, leg warmers, her dance heels, and a sports tank top with a jacket usually so she has layers in case it's cold or she gets too hot. Jen doesn't put on a lot of makeup most days, just because she normally dances at least four hours a day, but if she does it's waterproof. She does make sure that her makeup is perfect when she's at a competition or doing something that requires her makeup to be spot-on. Jennifer wears earrings that don't dangle but for competitions, she puts in nice jewelry and only has one set of earrings in at a time for competitions. Jen takes out her industrial for competitions and for special occasions, like nice dinners, and she covers up her tattoo with make-up for competitions even if the straps of her heels usually cover it up.
Markings>>2 piercings in her earlobe, one cartilage in her right ear and one industrial in her left ear. One tattoo on her ankle that says I dance to be free in cursive writing.
Medical History>>Various sprains, strains, etc. Seasonal allergies
Criminal History>>Nothing major; a warning for not having headlights driving home in the dark when she was 18, a few warnings for speeding at 19, and a ticket for speeding at 24
Full History>>Jennifer was born and raised in California. She is an only child, born to two loving parents, both of whom were professional dancers themselves. Her mother was a professional ballroom dancer, and her father was a ballet dancer. Dancing was in her blood, and not learning how to dance for Jennifer wasn't an option. Jennifer didn't like to dance at first, but then as the years went on, she loved it and relished the freedom she got from dancing. Jennifer excelled as a young ballroom dancer.
At 13, her family took a short vacation to Europe. Jen was introduced to horses and begged her parents to let her have riding lessons when they got back to California. Her parents agreed and Jen was even more determined to make her dancing better than ever, having to juggle dancing, school, and now, learning to ride horses.
Jen was 24 when she met Mark Tomschik. She was supposed to be dancing the showcase division with Derek, her partner, when he injured a disk in his back and couldn't dance. Jennifer ended up having to dance with Mark, and though the two didn't do particularly well, they did alright for only having a few hours to change the routine around a little, and learn how to dance with each other. Jen and Mark became friends and exchanged numbers, and after a few months of calling, texting, and sporadically seeing each other at competitions, the two started dating.
Mark proposed when Jennifer was 29 and she said yes. The two had planned the wedding to be the following May, when Jennifer was 30 and Mark was 32, but a change of plans would soon cause the date to change. Jennifer decided to move in with Mark before they were married, and to look for a job that would be less demanding and time-consuming than her current job as a professional ballroom dancer. Jennifer still planned to dance and go to competitions, but to take a small break and not dance at competitions as much. Jennifer applied to one teaching position as a ballroom dance instructor at Blue Ridge Riding Academy, which was about two hours away from Mark and Jen's house. She hadn't expected to get an interview, much less be accepted as a part of their staff, which is why it was such a surprise. Jennifer and Mark ended up having to change the date and everything to be married in late June instead of in May. Jen told Derek that she wouldn't be dancing as often, having gotten the position as the ballroom dance teacher, and the two parted ways with the understanding that should Jen ever want to return to dancing full time as a profession, the two would meet up somewhere and talk about being partners again. Jennifer would drive back to Louisville every Friday night and return Monday morning before her class started and Mark would come up at least once or twice a month during the middle of the week.
Pet Name>>Bear
Registered Name>> Not applicable
Age>>2
Gender>>Male
Species>>Feline
Breed>>Domestic Longhair
Registry>>Not applicable
Personality>>Bear was called 'vicious' by his previous owner for a reason that is not known to man. It turned out that he was anything but vicious, being a huge cuddler and curling up next to people. He's very friendly and normally meows when someone new comes in almost like a greeting of sorts. He loves being around people, even more so probably than hanging out with other cats, not that Jen has any other cats nor would she want to. Bear likes to chase things whether it be the string on a shoe or a little bug outside. He likes to go outside and roll in the dirt and play, but he usually always comes back in within an hour or two of being outside unless the weather's bad in which case, he stays inside and no amount of coaxing will get him to go outside. Bear loves to snuggle with Jen when she's in bed, and he curls up next to her hip. He stays there all night most of the time, which is why Jen had him declawed after the first few times he did that with her claws digging into her hip, but when he wants to get let out of the room, he jumps off the bed and knocks things down until Jen gets up and lets him out.
History>>Bear lived in a nice house with a family of four, which included a young infant and a four year old boy. Bear was named Bear by the little boy who was going through a stage where everything was called Bear even if it wasn't a bear and he knew it wasn't. Bear had a nice home, though he was the only cat, so he got a lot of attention form humans which is why he likes people more than other animals. Bear was one when he scratched and bit the little boy because the little boy decided to try and give Bear a bath. He was put up on Facebook as a 'vicious cat' and Jen saw the post. She messaged the people about taking him and picked him up one day when she had a few minutes to drive down and get him. Bear went to live with Mark and her, so when Jennifer was accepted as the dance teacher, it was a no-brainer that Bear would come with her.
