BRIALLEN TERFYNOL O ADERYN DDU
Registered Name>> Briallen Terfynol O Aderyn Ddu
Barn Name>> Briallen or Bri or Bria
Age>>14
Sex>>Mare
Breed>>Welsh Cob Section D
Breed Registry>>WPCSA
Coat Colour>>Black
Stable Colour>>Black
Height>>15.0 Hh
Personality>> Briallen is a stubborn mare. If she doesn't want to do something, she won't do it unless she's forced to, in which case she'll get a little mad about being forced to do something she doesn't want to do. She can be an absolute dream to ride if it's on her terms, and will try her hardest if she's given a challenge. Bria is smart and memorizes patterns easily, so Jennifer constantly has to switch it up with her in order to keep the mare from going straight into patterns just from asking her to do one tiny thing. Despite her somewhat small size, Briallen is a lead mare and always likes to be aware of where everyone is making it hard for her to be kept in a stall at a show when no other horses are there with her. Bri loves to do dressage patterns and jump over natural obstacles, making her a good cross country horse, but she doesn't like jumping over fake brick walls or cavaletti poles though she'll do it, even if she doesn't love it.
Caution Around>>
Basic History>> Briallen Terfynol O Aderyn Ddu was born at a welsh breeding farm in Maine. Briallen was sold at five years old to a woman nearby the farm. She was trained to drive as well as advancing her dressage and jumping skills. Briallen was boarded at a stable until her owner had to sell her to pay off her college loans. She was put up on a horse website where Jennifer saw him and bought him after traveling down to see him one weekend. She had Briallen shipped up to a boarding facility near where she lived in California. When Jennifer made the choice to live in Louisville, Briallen was shipped up to Kentucky and boarded at a stable just outside of Louisville. After Jennifer got the job for a dance teacher at Blue Ridge Riding Academy, she made the choice to take Briallen up with her, having to debate between selling her if she wouldn't get the attention she needed, or keeping the mare if she thought she could manage teaching, and practicing/competing for ballroom competitions not to mention taking care of and riding a horse.
