Personality>> Karma is a bit head strong, but she is beyond devoted to the few people that she trusts. It takes a patient and extremely persistent person to gain Karma's trust as she loves to push buttons and test her boundaries. Even with Karolina, she still pushes the limits and tries to test her. She is a quick learner and eager to please (when she's in the mood) and, of course, once she gets to know you. She is playful in her free time -- she loves bucking, kicking, and running just for fun and can often be found doing so in the pastures, and she loves to play with people too -- stealing things, nipping clothes, etc -- and she hasn't quite mastered the concept of boundaries and personal space.

Basic History>> Karma was born at a barn that was used for a variety of different therapy for children; her mother had been purchased for the program and only after they had gotten her did they realize she was also pregnant. As Karma grew up though, they decided that her temperament was unsuited for the program, and they did not have the time or money to dedicate to training her to be suitable. Thus she sat out in the pasture and received very little attention while other horses were pulled out almost daily for a variety of reasons. Most people working at the facility felt uncomfortable working with her due to her stubbornness and high energy, so there ended up being a vicious cycle. Finally, Karolina showed up and fell in love with Karma's headstrong nature, but, more importantly, she saw through that to the brilliant horse she could be. Karolina started working with Karma after hours, learning how to ride and simultaneously teaching Karma as well. Finally, Karolina worked up the courage to ask the owners if she could purchase Karma, and they agreed. Karma still lived on the property, but Karolina took full responsibility for her and her care.
