Personality>> Tavyn is fairly energetic, with a penchant for being constantly cheerful. She tends to make the best of things, as she often likes to encourage others to do even better than usual. Despite being so enthusiastic, Tavyn is socially awkward with a tendency to be overly blunt. She's not very aggressive either, and tends to be a pacifist at heart. Even though she's proven to be a calm person, Tavyn can be fiercely protective over her beloved snake and horse. In such, she has an impressive temper when provoked in the right spot. Tavyn is also remarkably patient. If her horse or Fleese gives her trouble, Tavyn makes sure to make it a point they won't do the same thing again. She's not abusive to her animals, she's firm and generally patient with them. Tavyn is also a very creative person, so when she's in the dark, she has an over-reactive imagination that causes her to hallucinate.

Appearance>> Tavyn is at an average height of five feet four inches. She has pale skin, and it's rather emphasized with her dark brown hair. She has upturned light amber eyes that almost look like they're golden in color. She also has freckles all over her face, along with a bunch scattered along her arms and legs. She weighs around 140 some pounds and is a fairly active young teenager. Though her chest is slightly underdeveloped, Tavyn has wide hips and large thighs. She is often found wearing jean shorts or a skirt, along with some nice shirts. Occasionally, there is a tee shirt to wear. Her signature piece of clothing is a floor-length trench coat that is always open.
Markings>> She has ear piercings, and usually only wears one stud a day.
Medical History>> She was often sick when she was small, so she had a surgery at age six to get rid of her tonsils and adenoids. She's never had any broken bones, and anything serious. The worst she was sick were a few really bad cases of the flu.

Full History>> Since she was a small child, Tavyn has grown up in the small lake town of Vermilion, Ohio. She was technically born in the Black Hills in South Dakota, but her birth mother died in childbirth. Six months later, her birth father was found dead in a ditch from drunk driving. She was almost immediately sent through the foster family, where the Laufeys took her in and decided to adopt her. It was all she knew at the time, and all she needed. She got along well with adopted older brothers Calvin and Harris, while her younger sister Angelina clung to her while she was in elementary school. After that, her older brothers went off to Harvard and Ohio State university respectfully. She grew up on a horse farm throughout her life so far, so she's been taking lessons since she was small. Tavyn wasn't very remarkable in her studies, and tended to slack off a lot. However, she truly did enjoy learning and usually tried her best on her homework and stuff. Tests, er.. weren't.. that well. Since she grew up in a remarkably big family of six people, they had to be extremely well off or they would be in the slums somewhere trying to mooch food off of people. When she turned ten, her parents let her decide on what kind of pet she wanted. Since she rather liked snakes, she acquired a ball python for her first. She also was able to choose one of the horses for her own, and after choosing it she was able to go out on rides whenever she wished.
When she turned thirteen, Tavyn's family decided to pack up and move to Blue Ridge, Kentucky. It was there that she found out about the academy, as where she knew the name before, she didn't know much about it. So Tavyn threw herself into her studies and hoped that when she turned fifteen, she would be accepted into the school. If she couldn't get accepted, then she would get her grades up to par so she could get in her junior year.

Personality>> Fleese is quite docile, and is remarkably calm for a ball python. He is also perfectly friendly, and warms up to other people gradually. If Tavyn is okay with a person, Fleese is okay with them. He's a little paranoid, and has a never-ending curiosity. This doesn't make him adventurous, but he's pretty active and he often tries to escape his tank. The lid is secured pretty firmly though, so he doesn't succeed often. When Tavyn takes him out, he's perfectly comfortable to curl up around her and doze. When Tavyn is irritated, he gets agitated himself and has a tendency to creep others out with his hissing. Otherwise he's generally cool with everything.
History>> Fleese came into Tavyn's life when she was ten. He was officially registered as Mr. Mephistopheles, though Tavyn nicknamed him Fleese. He was a rather content snake, as he had what he wanted and he liked his new owner. Where his previous owner had ignored him and often forgot to feed Fleese, Tavyn gave him a lot of attention and took good care of him. When Tavyn was accepted to Blue Ridge Academy, she took him along. He was mostly meant to remind her of home when she took him, but she got more comfortable with him there and occasionally let him out for fresh air. She always kept a careful eye on him so he wouldn't get into mischief.
