Basic History>> Sonya came to Camille as a broken 3 year old. She was born on her grandpa's farm. His Native American heritage came into play with her name. Her grandpa noticed one day that she loved to jump and after a year of training, she was ready to go to a new home and start show jumping. Around that same time, it was Camille's 13th birthday. She had been show jumping for a year and a half. So, as a present, Sonya was given to Camille. 2 years later, and a bunch of local show jumping competitions later, they moved to Blue Ridge.
