BrielleCadenceDuBois
<<Played by Musty>>
Full Name>>Brielle Cadence DuBois
Nicknames>>Brielle, Cade(Katie), Brie
Age>> April 17, 1989; 27
Staff or Student>> Barn Manager- Evening Primrose, French and Dressage teacher
House>> N/A
Gender>> Female
Sexuality>> Heterosexual
Face Claim>> Dianna Agron
Personality>> Brielle is the sort of person that would give the shirt off her back for someone. She's quiet and a little shy, but also very sweet and kind, and incredibly loyal. Brie tends to keep her personal business to herself and steer clear of bad attitudes, trying to always choose to be as positive as possible. Her horses mean a great deal to her and she takes her riding, and her classes and jobs, very seriously. However, that doesn't mean she doesn't know how to or like to have a little fun. She is slow to anger, but once her ire is up, she can have a true temper.
Likes>> Reading, riding, swimming/hot tubs, anything chocolate, helping others, spending time with/making friends
Dislikes>> Snakes, being afraid, being seen as a snob, people who don't care/don't take things seriously when they need to be/take things for granted/who are stuck up, people not doing what they're supposed to do(homework, caring for horses, putting things away, etc), being told she can't do something
Fears>> That she'll never jump again, that she'll never compete again, getting hurt again, that she'll never get her confidence back; spiders; that her slight accent will make her stick out too much in Kentucky; that she won't fit in/make friends in KY/US; that she'll wind up a "has-been"
Hopes>> To get her confidence back, get jumping again, get back to competition again, to someday meet someone special who understands and loves her/get married/have a family
Secrets>> In her accident a year ago, she was injured far worse than anyone really knows; she's lost her confidence because of that fall and hasn't jumped since
Appearance>> Brielle is fairly short, standing at 5/5" and weighing only 115 pounds, as she's still putting on some muscle and weight after her accident. Her long blonde hair and hazel eyes give her the look of the girl next door. After years of working and spending time outdoors, her skin has taken on a light tan. After working with horses her whole life, her muscles were always lightly toned, and they are just beginning to get that way again after a riding accident sidelined her for several months. Brie often pulls her hair back into a ponytail, or even a bun when she's in the ring. However, there have been times she likes to keep it down and even wear a little makeup, not a thing she does often. Her clothes are nice, though not ridiculously so. She is often in breeches and a polo she plans to ride or jeans when she isn't, and jeans with a t-shirt when relaxing, shorts and a tank top when the weather is hot enough. In class, she's usually in her jeans or khakis and a polo or nice top.
Markings>> A couple of decently sized scars on her chest from her punctured lung, scars on her ankle from surgery
Medical History>> 2 fractured vertebra, broken left wrist, broken right arm, broken right leg, broken right ankle, 3 broken ribs, punctured lung
Criminal History>> N/A
Full History>> Brielle was born in the United States to French eventers. When she was only a year old, they moved back to France to take over the family farm after her grandparents took ill. She grew up riding, learning from a young age what it truly took to raise and ride top notch eventers, appreciating every aspect of their care and training.
It became obvious very quickly that she was a talented rider. It wasn't long before she was competing at fairly high levels. Still, with the family farm to help run, she didn't compete as much as she would have liked. Yet she still worked her way up, competing all over Europe and bringing home medals of all kinds. Brie began competing professionally and internationally, attending competitions all over the world. Her eye was set on the Olympics, and she was a top contender until a cross country accident.
Her mount slipped in the mud and didn't quite clear a log fence, falling on top of her in the spill. Brie spent the next several weeks in the hospital, then the next several months in rehab. Since then, she's been cleared for riding of all types, though she struggles to get her confidence back.
With her parents concern becoming almost too much to live with, she took a position in the country she was born in, and had spent a decent portion of her life in from time to time, and moved to Kentucky. With her experience managing a farm and competing at high levels, she accepted a position as barn manager and dressage teacher. Since she was bilingual, with a slight French accent, she also took a position as French teacher.
Pet Name>> Beau
Registered Name>> If applicable
Age>> 1 yr old
Gender>> Male
Species>> Canine
Breed>> Beagle
Registry>>
Personality>> Beau is a typical young dog with plenty of energy. He loves to play and he's very friendly, and he loves people. However, he's also very sweet and loves to cuddle, especially when he senses that Brielle is upset. In a way, he's her unofficial therapy dog and he's always there to make her feel better. Around the barn, he's a proper gentleman, and he listens very well. A smart dog, he already knows several commands and a few tricks, and he's always learning.
History>> When Brielle had her accident, she found herself depressed at being unable to do very much for a long time, especially riding. So her parents bought her a Beagle puppy, which she named Beau. He'd been the runt of the little and not considered show quality, but he was perfect for Brie. They became quick friends and he is very attached to her. From the very beginning, he would spend each night curled up with her and he could always sense when she was upset or depressed. He's been her constant companion for the past year.
