Personality>> Beau is a hard working horse who loves his job. Gelded a little late, he can be a little studdy at times, but doesn't get stupid. He enjoys showing off his speed and jumping abilities, but has no problem collecting and looking graceful for dressage. He enjoys causing a little mischief at times, even occasionally escaping from his stall. Beau never causes any real problems, but he'll beg for treats and rubs and push his limits with just about anyone. Though he's a top notch performer, he's been around just about everything from kids to dogs and even the occasional cow. He's great with kids and he'll look at something new, but he won't outright freak out. Since the accident last year, he has not been jumped regularly and will often try to approach a jump if he sees one, but can be redirected with a firm hand.

Basic History>> Beau was bred, foaled, and raised on the DuBois family farm in France. From a young age, he was destined to become a top performer on the international circuit, and his training started young. He was always a little mischievious, but when his antics started getting in the way of his performance, he was gelded. Brielle was his partner from day one, taking his training under her personal care. She was barely in high school when he was born, but she'd been training and competing for several years. They took to each other immediately and have traveled the world competing over the past several years. Last year he slipped in the mud on the approach to a log jump and didn't quite clear it, causing the accident that had so badly injured Brielle and sidelined her, at least temporarily, from competing. His injuries were not serious and he could compete at any time.
