Personality>> AnnMarie is, and always has been, a spitfire. She was raised to be a strong willed girl, but more or less ended up being a force to be reckoned with. She definitely isn't wild though, at least not anymore. She stands up for what she believes in even if other people don't like it. Marie is still very respectful of others, and has never been one to push her beliefs or opinions on. Marie has a very short fuse that she's acquired from her father. Over time she's learned to handle her frustrations and anger better when it makes itself present. She's a very kind woman, and loves to be friends with others. It's rare you come across her when she doesn't have at the very least, a small smile on her face. With this being said, Marie is very good at putting on a front. She is not big on sharing her problems or feelings if they are deeper than she feels appropriate. Her burdens belong to no one else, and she makes sure it stays that way.
Marie is as bull headed as they come. Stubborn as a mule, she will battle you until the very end. She is also a very determined individual. Marie takes pride in never having been called a quitter, if she says she is going to get something done, then she will, no matter the complications. Hardworking and tough, she's used to heavy work loads. She believes in putting her work first, and then playing later. When Marie lets loose and has fun, she's a ball to be around. She's a very goofy, smiley girl who loves to joke around.
Relationships aren't exactly her strong suit. Marie's not an awkward woman by any means, but she definitely has some fear of commitment. She's notorious for getting cold feet on a guy, even if she adores everything about them. It has to do with being hurt. Marie can go and jump on any colt, and she won't care if they crack her skull or kill her, but when it comes to getting emotionally hurt, Marie won't stand for it. She definitely shies away from it, like a skittish horse. Marie is a sucker for a sense of humor though, and could fall in love with anyone who makes her laugh and laugh till she feels like her sides are going to split. She's also a very big flirt, but doesn't always realize it. She smiles and laughs quite a bit and it just comes out of her even if she isn't really meaning to. It's clear how this can lead to some problems when Marie finds herself with feelings towards someone.

Appearance>> Marie is an athletic looking woman. She's not necessarily tall, standing at five feet four inches. She's quite fit from always making herself useful, and is well endowed with nice curves. Marie has strong arms and thick legs from working horses throughout the entire day, as well as keeping her father's ranch taken care of. From unloading a couple squeezes of hay to cleaning out stalls all day, it's all kept her very fit and healthy. Despite spending many hours in the sun, she's never worked up the golden tan, always holding a paler color. Marie has long, thing blonde hair, some strands very light and others more gold with some whisps of a light brown here and there. Shes got a cute, slightly upturned nose and very pretty blue, green eyes. To finish her off, she's got a wide, slightly crooked smile.

Medical History>> Has broken her leg, wrist, nose and foot before. Most notably when she was stuck in bed for a summer due to two broken vertebrae, a couple cracked ribs and a nasty concussion from starting a colt.

Full History>> From the moment she was born, Marie was in the saddle. AnnMarie grew up on a cattle ranch in Montana. The mountains and hundreds of acres were her backyard, and she took full advantage of it. Her mother was a very kind, soft spoken woman who had a soft spot for her husband and gave into anything he wanted. Her father was a stoic cowboy, that was always ready to work, but like most new father's was wrapped around his little girl's finger. Her daddy always had her in the saddle with him, whether it was for fun or a day of work. Marie also had two older brothers, Gage and Matthew. Gage was the oldest and the most reckless of the three, while his younger brother Matthew was the complete opposite. He was a stickler for rules and was always the one to diffuse any rash decisions. He was definitely the most sensible of the Carter kids, and everyone always loved Matthew. Growing up with those two meant that Marie could either turn out one of two ways, wild, or calm. Naturally, she was as fiery as they came. She was a stark contrast from her mother, and acted like one of the boys. She was also a major daddy's girl, always saddled up and ready to go wherever he needed her. Marie was a rough and tough girl, pushing through the long, hard cattle drives and never complaining. The work leveled her out some, but when Gage came into the equation, they were always getting into all sorts of trouble, Matthew not far behind cleaning up their messes. This caused a lot of fights, as her father would get irritated with Gage for being irresponsible, and he felt as though Gage were corrupting Marie. There was always a lot of tension from that point, and as soon as he could, Gage got the hell out of dodge. He would come back for birthdays or holidays, but it was safe to say they weren't always the most comfortable.
Matt had very little interest in the ranch, instead focusing on sports and school. This left Marie to learn everything there was about ranching, as well as training and breeding horses. It was easy for her, as she rapidly picked up everything, starting colts as a young girl and learning how to deal with different types of mares and stallions. In terms of rodeo and competition, Marie dabbled in it all. She became an excellent roper, whether it be breakaway, heading, heeling, or dragging stray bulls back. Marie also loved to enter in barrel races for fun, as well as pole bending, cutting, and a bit of reining. Rodeos were a frequent event for her, and it was there that she learned not everyone treated their horses the same. Marie was used to their horses being treated like gods, being taken care of and kept up religiously, and assumed everyone was the same. When she saw that some others didn't treat their horses the same, she became infuriated and began to hold a very high standard for how she treated the horses she trained and worked, making sure she would never mistreat them. She refused to be apart of the belief that most animals in rodeo are mistreated. Despite being busy with the ranch and rodeo, Marie found herself itching to do things. Without Gage, she had no one to help curb her cravings for adventure, and sure enough, she found herself wrapped up in the wrong crowd. It took her some time to shake them and the problems they had stirred up.
By the time she finally quieted down again, it was time for her to make a decision of what she wanted to do after high school. Marie decided to give college a shot, but quickly discovered it was not for her, not until she figured out what career she wanted anyway. She spent a few more years on her dad's ranch, breeding and training before deciding she needed a change of scenery. After spending quite a bit of time looking, she stumbled across an ad for BRRA and a position open at one of the barns. With that, and a few promises to visit, she packed up her horses and headed to Kentucky.

Personality>> Thor is a very goofy dog. He loves to run at people with his big tongue lolling out of his mouth and just give everyone all the love in the world. He's a very adventurous dog, used to open spaces and loves to run forever. He's a hardworking dog, as he was raised on the ranch to help with the cattle. He's also very protective, but only when he feels it's necessary or that a threat is posed. Overall he's a very sweet fellow, with a cute face to match.
History>> Thor was given as a Christmas present to Marie by Gage. Given that they already had several dogs, their dad wasn't very happy. But the pup ended up being a quick learner and very useful. He was still Marie's dog though, and they were partners in crime. Wherever Marie was, Thor wasn't far behind. He was a frequenter at all the rodeos and it wasn't rare to find him resting on the hind end of Marie's mount when he was a pup. He eventually outgrew that, and mainly worked by her side, proving fearless in pushing and tracking. When Marie decided to leave, there was no doubt in her mind that Thor was coming with her. With that, he happily hopped in the truck, probably thinking they were just going to another rodeo.
