Blue Ridge is a fictional town located deep in the heart of Kentucky. It is home to one of the most well known equestrian academies in the United States. Students and staff from all over the world join the academy for what it has to offer. Do you have what it takes to join us and learn from the Academy?

Personality>> He really loves new things. New obstacles, new people, learning new skills. He seems to be really excited about it. He also gets excited about being ridden; he happily lowers his head to be bridled. Even so, he sticks his tongue out while he's being ridden, which makes for some goofy photos. In the pasture, he really just gets along with everyone. He's kind of hard to groom because he's so excitable, but as long as you're patient he's fine. His favorite treat is Oreos. Don't give him too many. Caution Around>> Any kind of fire or smoke bigger than a match
Basic History>> He was complicated from the beginning. He was a breach birth, but thankfully he and his mother both survived. He was born on a Danish farm and sold to Ailsa's parents as a yearling. He'd had his first ride and, of course, was halter broken and ready to be trained in whichever discipline Ailsa wanted. He was a gift for her, after all. It took him a while to be trained, but he's been successful up to this point. After the accident, he and Ailsa have both been afraid of fire. She has been able to ride him a few times since then. Usually she just lunges him, and he's been getting bored.

We Ran Out of Paint
Registered Name>> We Ran Out of Paint Barn Name>> Sundae Birth Year>> 2008 Sex>> Gelding Breed>> Falabella Breed Registry>> FMHA
Coat Colour>> Black Tobiano Stable Colour>> Black and white Height>> 8hh (32")
Personality>> He lives up to the "naughty pony" stereotype (even though he's technically a miniature horse). He's pretty much only interested in making trouble. If the stall door is short enough, he can let himself out. He nibbles on clothes, and skin sometimes, if someone isn't paying attention. There's a lot of energy in this little guy and he's always excited to be involved in something new. That means he learns fairly quickly, and that sounds at first like it may be a good thing, but it's also bad. After all, that's how he learned to open stall doors. He is also very food motivated, and what's more he'll steal treats from any pocket or hand he can get his little muzzle into.
On the positive side, he is sweet with people and he can be a very hard worker. His handler just needs a firm hand. Caution Around>> Treats, needles
Basic History>> He was born on a farm in the United States that raise a variety of ponies and miniature horses, most of which specialized in driving or attending children's birthday parties. Some of the animals live there forever, but many like Sundae are sold to keep the farm in business.
So, Sundae was trained in driving and they taught him a few little tricks here and there. They used him for the usual jobs for a couple of years but ultimately put him up for sale. It just so happened that a friend of Ailsa's found the ad and purchased him as a gift for her. So here he is, and Ailsa isn't sure what to make of it.
