Personality>> Jenny is a good natured horse who is generally friendly to all; however, she does have a limited patience, and she does not tolerate being treated with a lack of respect. She is rather like her rider in that she appears to be a perfectly friendly safe horse at first but can grow irate if she disapproves of something which is done to her. She is also wary of dogs, not having been exposed to many of them in her younger years, and though she will generally pass them without making a fuss, she will often take fright if the dog becomes excitable.

Basic History>> Jenny was purchased as a young horse by Tara's father in order to replace her previous horse, who went by the name of Black Beauty. There was an interval of several years between the two, however, since Tara initially felt that it would be impossible to replace her previous horse. Eventually, however, she gave in to the desire to ride again, and so Jenny was installed in the stables. Tara quickly grew to love this horse at least as much as she had her previous, for though Jenny was not as reliable as Beauty, she had a lovely personality which Tara soon became familiar with. She rode Jenny in many competitions as she grew older, and usually finished in the top three.
