Ria kicked off her sneakers before she pulled her feet up and curled in the big armchair that sat in the common room. She opened the book that Will had gotten for her, Pony Crazed Princess: Princess Ellie to the Rescue, to the first page and started reading, falling into the story about a girl and her four ponies. In her mind, that was a lot of horses, but not as many as there were in mounted games, so Mr. Ropata must be even richer than this princess! She thought about the ponies in Mounted Games for a moment, before she went back to reading, her finger under the word that she was working out, her lips moving as she read. She still didn't like reading, but the story was an interesting one, and it involved horses, which made it all the better. She hadn't been able to find anyone else to ride with her, and Will was busy, so she couldn't go out and ride, but this was the next-best thing, right?
As she read, her attention slowly wandered out of the window, to where the sun sparkled off of the dew-covered grass. She had promised Will she would tell him if she went anywhere except the common room, and sadly, she knew that he would take away her riding privileges for longer if she didn't follow his instructions on the matter. Wishing for some kind of thing to do apart from continuing reading, Ria looked around the empty common room, her mind wandering.
It had been a while since the eighteen year old had just hung out in the common room. Grabbing a sweatshirt and slipping into her Sperry’s, giving Lily a pat on the head and grabbed her phone, in case anyone wanted to talk to her, which wouldn’t be a bad thing at this point. Locking the door behind her, Belle pocketed her keys and walked down the hallway to the stairwell. Even though she was still in her pajama bottoms and a tank top she made her way down to the first floor. Her stomach rumbled and she debated between heading over to the cafeteria or just staying in the house and making something up in the kitchenette.
As she turned from the stairwell and into the common room she saw a little girl. Even though she had only encountered and made conversation with her once, Belle still knew her name. She seemed to be bored, the eighteen year old could defiantly relate to the young girl. Of course she could always go out and ride, but in all honestly she just wanted to be lazy today and she was sort of sore, which was a little unusual. "Hi Ria." Belle found the girl's name in the back of her mind from the first time they spoke. Belle saw that she was holding a book, "Whatcha reading?" For the time being the blonde forgot about her hunger.
