Of course Calgary still has a side of her that comes out galloping around the ring in mounted shooting, she because hyper and high speed. Any other time with any other rider through that side doesn't come out. In the felid Calgary acts like a youngster running and playing. Jack plans to put her on loan to a beginner rider so she can take it easy in her old age as she is slowing down. Calgary has great ground manners to go along with her saddle manners.

Basic History>> Jack and Calgary have been together all of her 19 years of life will most of them anyway. She was born on the ranch were he was working at the time. Jack halterbroke her and trained her. He started picking up extra work and brought her as a yearling. Calgary and him went everywhere together. There was a second horse until she was 4 years old then just her. He broke her to ride, and started her mounted shooting training that same year. She took too everything he asked of her like a duck to water. Calgary and him competed over the next 8 years of her life. When she was 12 she went to the family ranch. She was breed and had a colt who is 6 years old now. Her colt is Blackheart or just Black for short. When her colt was weaned she returned to Jack's side and the ring. About a year ago she started having her work lessened.

Personality>> Black is an honest horse. He lives to work. He loves to hang out on the range and keep the cows in line .he is eager to learn new things. He likes to please his rider. He has the mature nature of an older horse. He was used to pack around kids that came to the nature he has. Black tends to be a thinker. In the pasture Black is a low to middle of the herd horse. Black likes to play and some times that can be a bit of goofy scene. Black hates to be stalled since he grew up on the range.

Basic History>> Black was born to Calgary Cowgirl and BlackMagic on Jack's families ranch. He grew up on the range with the other mares and foals. He was weaned at the age of 8 monthes. Jack allowed him to stay on the ranch to grew and learn. As a yearling he was brought in to be halterbroke. Then he returned to the herd. Black came in as a four year old. He was saddle broke and started on light work. Jack allowed him to be used as a stock horse. Black was used more as a five year old and over this summer. Now however he has come to start his show training.

Personality>> Hecate is a spoiled brat. This young mare is use to getting her way. She is scared of things no ranch horse should be like the cows and sagebrush. She tends to be a bit stubborn if something isn’t going her way. She hates to be forced to do things. She is a bit of a free spirit. She loves people and isn’t such a big fan of other horses. Hecate hates stalls. She isn’t as bad about then as her buddy Black of course. Hecate is a huge fan of food and that might be the way to win her over.

Basic History>> Simply Magic or Hecate as she is known to her fans was of course born on the Gailson ranch. She is the daughter of BlackMagic and an older apply mare named Gizmo. This makes her half sister to Black. Her dam was barren at least that's what everyone throught so when she foaled it came as a shock. The older mare passed away when the filly was only two weeks old from an infection. That meant Hecate had to be brought in to bottle feed or rather that's what everyone throught. Hecate however had other plans. The daring youngster stole milk from other mares in the band. This young horse had the want to be a range horse. They still had to supplement her with bottles and ended up having to bring her in when she was two monthes old due too a nasty bite on her shoulder. Hecate however grew and floushied under there close eyes. When she was a year old they tried to turn her out on the range. She spotted a cow and came darting right back. She came back and hang out in the yard everytime they tried to free her. So she became like a pet. They spoiled her and she got even more dog like. Finally she was ready to be saddle broke and due to her fear of cows ,they throught Jack would be best off with her.
