Personality>> Flash is bad. There's no way around it, no gentle way to put it. He's just simply a bad horse at the moment. He's abnormally aggressive, and won't hesitate to bite anyone - horse or human. He's been trained to ride, but he's balky and stubborn under saddle. It takes a lot of work to get him to soften and co-operate. Flash always wants to be the dominant horse in the pasture as well and will bully and boss around other horses.
He's fidgety and annoying when tied up or confined in any way. When in a grooming stall, Flash is constantly pawing or throwing his head. Stalls aren't a great option for him, as he's prone to being a "merekat". Flash will repeatedly rear up in his stall to see over the edges of the walls.
When finally coaxed into behaving, Flash is an incredibly versatile horse. He's an attractive jumper over low obstacles as well as being agile and quick enough for western events. He makes a pretty spectacular trail horse due to his hardy nature and surefootedness.

Basic History>> Flash was rounded up as a yearling. His history before that is completely unknown. He was adopted by a tough cowboy and started his training under the man. Flash's first couple years in captivity were good. He learned a lot and turned out to be a promising horse.
However, the cowboy decided to sell Flash, as he believed that the horse was ready to move on. His next owner, a middle-aged woman, was less than ideal. She would alternate between spoiling him then, realizing how bad her horse was getting, calling in tough trainers to "fix" Flash in a matter of hours. This combination soured the paint until he was entirely uncooperative.
Talyn found the mustang for sale on craigslist. Obviously, elated from her other rescues, she bought him. However, Flash is far more than any other horse Talyn has trained and working with him is taking every ounce of talent and grit she has.
