Personality>> Jayden is a strong-willed individual. This woman has her own opinions and rarely lets anyone persuade her from them. Jay is very independent, and taking help in anyway hurts her to do so. She had been on her own for about 13 years, this does not include her four years at college, and has learned to take short cuts when necessary, and trust in herself. Jay is very finicky when it comes to others getting close. She had friends in college, but she never knew if she could trust them fully, she blames this on her mother. Rightly so, as Lena put on a face to make the outside world believe that she loved and accepted her daughter’s presence in her life, but that wasn’t the case. Her number one rule in and out of the classroom is BE RESPECTFUL! She becomes a broken record during the school year, and preaches this to her students at least twice a day. This also is a result of her mother because even though Jayden didn’t agree with her mother’s decisions or morals as a child, she never once disrespected her. Jay told herself that she would never stoop to the level that her mother had lived on for her entire life. Overall, Jayden is a strong woman who shouldn’t be tested, unless someone is able to handle what she has to offer them.

Appearance>> Jayden is not exactly your average lady. She stands at five feet and nine inches, making her a little taller than average, and she is a bean pole. She is the type of goddess who eats whatever she wants and does not gain ten pounds. Her skin is a beautiful caramel color resulting from her father being white and her mother having darker skin. She inherited her tamable mane from her father, but the color from her mother. She is mostly seen wearing it up in a bun during the school day and back in a french braid when in the barn or on her horse. Since Jay was raised in a financially inclined family she has expensive taste, but she moved out on her own fairly young, so she has gotten extremely good at buying more for less.

Medical History>> Jayden has had a few broken bones due to her childhood of riding horses. Specifically she broke her collar bone and her humerus when she was eight, her foot in three different places when she was eleven, and had a fracture in her ulna when she was sixteen.

Full History>> Flashback to 35 years ago - where Lena Holland and Jack Foster meet. Jack trained top notch dressage horses and Lena was a highly competitive eventer. Jack being 25 years to Lena's senior, she didn't give him a second look as far as a relationship went, as Lena was only 23 years old, making Jack 48 years old at the time. Lena's weakness was in dressage, so she sought out Jack for guidance. Their partnership blossomed into a friendship, and then into a relationship.
Fast-forward to October of 1982 - Lena started to notice a little weight gain in herself, which concerned her considering that as an athlete she maintained her health to the highest degree. She took a visit to her family doctor, and had some blood work done. The results came back, and she was 3 months along with a little girl. She could barely believe it. Deep-down Lena slightly resented the child growing inside of her, as this meant that should would have to put her life on the back burner, and she would fall behind her competitors. She felt no rush, or obligation, for that matter to tell Jack.
Lena contacted Jack a few more times for business matters only and then sort of disappeared. Of course, Jack would not have it. He did not want to be shut out like that. He contacted Lena several times, and it even came to the point that he visited her at her home. At which point he had seen the sizable belly that she was carrying. Questions flew around and the truth came out. Jack immediately stepped up to the plate, he had toyed with the idea of having children, but the woman never appeared to help him achieve that idea. Now it was brought to him, more or less, on silver platter and he wasn’t going to let it slip away.
Fast-forward to May of 2000 – Jayden Elizabeth Foster was heading off to college. She had been saving up money from her jobs that she convinced her parents she needed to have. Little did Lena and Jack know, but Jay wasn’t coming back home after her four years at college. After she was certified to teach, she was heading off some far away from the bickering of her parents. Jay had everything she needed to be successful. Her parents had lent her money for college, which was enough to cover the entirety of her bill from four years of schooling. Her plan would be to pay her parents back, each and every cent, when she had the money of course. The sooner that happened, the sooner Jay would be able to fully cut ties with her parents.
The love story had sort of a happy ending for Lena and Jack, but Jayden grew up in a family that resented her. Her mother never really showed it, but Jay felt the lack of love in her house growing up. She knew that it would be better for everyone if she left and did not return.
After college, it was a couple years until Jayden found a teaching job with a contract for three years. She had been substituting here and there when there were spots available, but eventually her hard work paid off. The three years were up, and after sitting down with the principal and superintendent, her contract was renewed for two years. Then again, the two-year contract was up, and her job was reevaluated. Jayden’s superiors felt as though her job was no longer needed, as budgets cuts were being forced on the school district. There were already two other Spanish teachers, and Jay didn’t make the cut.
A year went by, and she had searched all over the place for a job. Her ideal position would be to teach Spanish, but at that point anything would do. She hit the jack-pot when she clicked on a link that took her to the webpage of a private school that offered academic and equestrian classes. Even though dealing with the equestrian side of things would drudge up unwanted memories, she told herself she would be able to deal with it.

History>> Charlie has lived with Jayden almost her whole life. Jayden purchased Charlie on a whim. The feline cost Jay around 1,500 dollars. A pretty hefty price, but Jayden didn't care. She had already bought a litter box, dishes for food and water, and cat toys. Charlie did not return to the life that her ancestors lived, which was in the show ring.
