Personality>> Quite simply, Kitty is a complete and utter sweetheart, which is probably how she acquired her nickname. She's the best friend that anyone could ever wish for; kind, generous, bubbly and outgoing. She's definitely a people person, although of course she is a horse person as well. Although she is a very confident person on the surface, she has always secretly been lacking in belief in herself and her abilities, and coming to Blue Ridge has made her very nervous since she is paranoid that she will not be as good as everyone else. She is a big worrier, being somewhat highly strung, and needs someone more down to earth to calm her down at times.

Appearance>> Kitty's fashion sense is very much like her personality; bright and bubbly. She loves bold and pastel colours, and has any number of white leggings because, as she puts it, they go with anything- and that is certainly a bonus with her eclectic wardrobe. Kitty loves to experiment, and often produces very good results with only the occasional questionable outfit. Her favourite riding outfit is a tartan blouse with white jodhpurs, which, as her friends point out, may be very attractive but isn't especially practical. Her hair is and always has been blonde and very straight, with its length varying between three or four feet during the winter, though she wears it somewhat shorter during summer. Kitty is quite petite for her age, being one or two inches shorter than is usual and verging on underweight, though staying on just the right side of the line. Her skin is smooth and quite light with few blemishes.

Full History>> Kitty was born on a large farm in Ireland to an Italian father and an Irish mother; Benito Lorelia and Carol McGinty. The farm had been in her mother's family for centuries, and she inherited it when her father- Kitty's grandfather- passed away at an early age due to a rare form of cancer. The farm was run the traditional way, with very little in the way of modern equipment and something of an army of workers to keep it running, and Kitty grew up surrounded by animals and the men and women whose families had worked with them for generations. She learned about everything from milking cows to delivering lambs, but the animals which she enjoyed working with the most were always the horses. Kitty's father brought with him from Italy a stallion from an excellent bloodline, and this, combined with the good reputation of the McGinty mares which had been bred on the farm for generations, helped to ensure a business in equine breeding which became rapidly more profitable until finally, when Kitty was ten, the decision was made to convert to a wholly equine farm. One of the most prominent in Ireland, profits soared, and when Kitty reached an age where she could be sent away for a quality schooling, her parents were well able to afford to send her to Blue Ridge.

Personality>> Missie, rather like her namesake, is certainly not averse to a little mischief. When she was a kitten, she was frequently found clawing her way up the curtains, although as she grew older- and heavier- this problem abated. Her penchant for mischief remains, though, and when left alone in the house for too long, Kitty frequently returns to find various forms of chaos in her bedroom. Thankfully, she's not too attached to any of her possessions.
History>> Missie was born as one of a litter of six kittens to a ragdoll by the name of Lucy- which was short for Lucifer's Circle- who belonged to one of the workers on the McGinty farm. Subsequent to the birth, Missie went walkabouts and couldn't be found for hours. Finally, Kitty located her in a barn nearby, and since the two were getting on well, the owner offered to give her the kitten when she was old enough. She spent some time terrorising the neighbourhood, and managed to give birth to a litter of kittens before she could be spayed, but age is having an effect and she is now just a little calmer than she was.
