Misa pulled up to the main office of where she would be starting her new life. It had been a long time coming, almost 3 years in the making to get to this point. Putting her truck in park before getting out. Before heading inside she walked around to the trail and looked inside, was happy to find Pepperjack fast asleep. She knew the gelding hated being trailed, they had to leave for shows three days before hand. She shook her head, showing was in her past, she couldn't do it with out Peanut Butter. Slowly she made her way into the building and to the desk. she had learned the slower she walked the less you could see her limp. Her blonde hair was pulled into a mess bun and her button up shirt showed how long of a ride she had taken to get her. "Hello, My name is Miss La'Van and I'm the knew Eventing and Jumping teacher" She spoke softly to the lady behind the desk. She was tired and just ready for the day to be over. The ride had only been made longer due to the fact she had to stop every hour for Pepperjack.
Imogen yelped as she saw the time, her eyes widening. She was late to get back from her lunch break. The tall blond leapt to her feet, bidding a rushed goodbye to her lunctime companions and raced back to the main office. Heels clattered on the dry ground, her bag clutched tightly to her chest as she almost sprinted back to her workplace. She shot through the door, glancing around for either of her bosses and quickly darted to her desk. The leggy female tucked her bag by her feet and panted softly, her cheeks flushed at the sudden exuberant behaviour. Reaching for her bottle of water, she took a greedy gulp before taking deep, settling breaths. Five minutes late. Nobody would shoot her for that, would they? The vixen shuddered slightly as she imagined the worst outcome.
Imogen was just about to be put into the stocks by Mr Jameson while Ms Hart readied the rotten tomatoes when the door opening jolted her from her thoughts. Blushing slightly, believing she'd been caught red handed with her thoughts, Imogen looked up and smiled warmly at the new arrival. She suddenly remembered that the eventing teacher was meant to arrive today, and she gathered the pack she'd already put out this morning for the woman. "Welcome to Blue Ridge, Miss La'Van. I'm sure you will love it here." She told the woman sincerely. "You will be living in room 153 of Brown Ribbon House. Here is your key and map as well as a printout of various helpful information." Imogen smiled warmly, handing the stuff over. "Your horse, Pepperjack, will be living White Oak Barn which I have circled on your map for you. If you have any questions regarding his well being or any concerns, Ms Carr is the barn manager. Her office is in the barn. She would be happy to help you." Again, Imogen smiled. She loved greeting new arrivals. It was one of her favourite parts of the job. "Again, I hope you enjoy living here. If you have any more questions, I would be happy to answer them."
Misa smiled friendly at the woman behind the desk. "Thank you" She said for the warm welcome. she took the stuff she was handed and looked it over, making sure she had everything she would need. Placing the key in her pocket she looked as the woman spoke of Jack. She nodded slowly in understanding as she took everything in. "Is there set times for my classes to start? Or do I have to set that up?" She asked shyly. Misa had never really helped other people learn to ride, but she was excited about getting started. She just hoped that her students where as hard of workers she expected them to be.
Outside in the trailer Pepperjack thought it best to wake up. Putting his nose to the window he took in a deep breath. He could smell the other horses, and knew he was some place new. He let out a low whine before he pulled at his lead. Kicking out he made the trailer rock. Misa's eyes snapped to the door toward the trailer. Shacking her head a few blonde locks fell from the tie. "That dumb horse" She mumbled before turning back to the woman. "Is the list of my students in here and a way to get hold of them?" she let out a shy laugh. "I'm a bit excited to get started."
