Personality>> Evelyn is classy, determined and stubborn. The pretty blonde knows her mind and is not afraid to share her point of view. Evelyn's manners are impeccable, all the Clarington children's are. She will always know how to respond to someone with dignity and never fails to watch her P's and Q's. She's passionate when she talks about things she agrees and disagrees with, she has a wicked sense of humor and loves to make a room laugh. She's a great presence, you cannot help but enjoy Evelyn.
Evelyn is an extremely affectionate person. She loves physical touch, and while she respects boundaries she will welcome all friends with a warm hug and a big smile. She'll hold hands with whoever is offering and just loves company. If you're watching a movie with her she will rest her head on you or have her feet in your lap - if she's welcome. It is infectious though - again, it's hard to dislike Evelyn.
She's bright and can hold stimulating conversations. She's very rarely in a bad mood but isn't afraid to show when she's upset about something. She's not one to hold much of a grudge, however, unless you're her parents. Once the air has cleared and the issue has been discussed, she'll be your best friend all over again. Life's too short - that's why she escaped her family when she did.
Evelyn is a bit of a priss, however. She does not like to get dirty and as much as she tries not to complain, manual labour is not her thing. She'll tend to her horses, do the grunt work for them, but then she's out. Evelyn is probably the only person who can leave a barn cleaner than when she leaves. She always has hand sanitizer on her person and is a little bit of a germophobe. She'll try to hide it, but sometimes will have a little freak out if it gets too much.

Secrets>> Evelyn stole 50,000 dollars from her parents and put it into a secure account just before she and her siblings decided to cut ties with the family. She assumes they still haven't found out that it has gone or they know and haven't decided to do anything yet.
Appearance>> Evelyn is petite, immaculate and beautiful. Her build is tiny, she's 5'2 and skinny. She works out and eats healthily and keeps herself in shape. Her blonde hair currently grazes her shoulders but is usually longer - she'll sometimes put in extensions - and styled in loose, effortless curls. Unlike her siblings, Evelyn has bright blue eyes which come from her mother. They're warm, curious and usually lit with humour. They do become stormy when she's unhappy, though.
She's always dressed stylishly and immaculately. She's always appropriate and there's never a speck of dirt on her clothes. As soon as she notices one she has to change. She can also get a stain out of anything as a result. She's a gorgeous being and is completely aware. While she doesn't rely on her looks, she's not afraid to use them if needed. The Clarington family is known for being beautiful. It was one of those perks.

She broke her right arm when she was 6, again falling from a palomino. Her first pony - Custard. She still has nightmares about that pony.
Full History>> Evelyn was born into a wealthy, privileged family. Her family owns CLARINGTON TOYS - a prosperous business providing the world with wonderful toys for all ages. Evelyn has known nothing but the fabulous, 'easy' lifestyle of the rich and powerful. Since the day she was born, she has had to be the poster child. All her siblings had - the two that came before her and her little angel of a brother, Ezra. Ezra had been idolized by herself and two older siblings - even if his parents viewed him as a mistake. Evelyn had been 13 when he was born. She was pleased to not be the youngest any longer and as soon as she saw him she fell in love. She and her older siblings had been born via surrogates. Her mother had important duties to attend to. She had no time to carry babies. Besides, she hadn't wanted to ruin her figure. Her parents had been done with children. But then the 'miracle child' was conceived. Her parents had slipped up. But the world could not know that, so Ezra was spun as their miracle baby. Her mother was 41 when Ezra was born,
Her father 53. Too old to be parents, they knew, but false pretenses had to be kept up. Ezra was born, already resented. But not by Evelyn.
Like her youngest brother, Evelyn was raised by Nannies and sent away to boarding school in New York - along with her siblings - when she was old enough. While she did have the perks of being privileged, her parents were uninterested unless it benefited them. She would admit that she and her older siblings had gotten more attention than their baby brother but it was false. They were planned - they had a purpose. Evelyn hated to go home. She tried for Ezra, but it was so poisonous. College gave her the outlets she so needed. She studied teaching - Elementary. She loved it, stayed on to complete her masters and taught for a few years. It was great publicity for her family. Their gorgeous daughter giving back and teaching young minds. While her older siblings went on to more prestigious careers - one a lawyer and one a doctor - her parents loved to show hers off more. It made them seem more humble, she supposed.
Evelyn had always been the sibling that went the furthest with her horse riding, also. While Ezra got a horse for every discipline - mostly to keep him busy - Evelyn specified quickly and excelled. Her parents pushed her into hunters, it was more regal. Luckily, she loved it and consistently placed. The discipline that her parents disagreed with, however, was barrel racing. "Evelyn, it's not dignified. Give it up." They'd scold her whenever they paid attention long enough. Evenlyn always refused. And it was a good job too. She raced to the top, she was regarded as one of the best barrel racers around. When she started earning the big money, her parents laid off. She was allowed to continue without harassment. At least, for a little while.
Recently, Evelyn had become disenchanted with teaching elementary school children. It was draining her and the enjoyment had gone. She needed a change of career. Older age groups did not really engage her either. Then she was suggested to by a friend to share her riding knowledge. The idea stuck. She quit her job and started to look for a new one. Her parents hit the roof. She was a time waster, an idiot, she would amount to nothing. "Riding is not a job!" They'd yell at her. She'd had enough. So had her older siblings. It has been two months now since they cut ties from the family. It had been the hardest for Evelyn to leave her little brother, but he was just still so young. She couldn't provide for him - not yet. But she would.
Three weeks ago, news of Ezra's attempt on his life got back to her. She's fought to get a hold of him, harassing her parents, their assistants, their maids and even the gardener to get more information. Finally her father called her back, informed her that the boy was alive and that he'd moved schools. He didn't share which one, but Evelyn did some digging and managed to find an Instagram page of a friend of Ezra's that featured the school that they were both now attending. She loved that social media obsessed girl at that moment. She researched the school - Blue Ridge Academy - and was ecstatic to see that the academy was hiring for BOTH her dream jobs. She applied and got the job. Now she's determined to get Ezra back on track, knowing her parents would be controlling every move he made. Evelyn will not let him be walked over any more. She's determined.
