Sweet Gracie is a genuinely lovely person. She’s one of those people who compliment without even knowing she is. She wants to be everyone’s friend and is deeply hurt by harsh words. She’s got a smile for everyone and will talk to anyone. She won’t talk ill of a soul and refuses to listen to those who do. It has caused a few of the problems between herself and Blue.

Naïve She has not wised up to the world yet. This has allowed her to remain ignorant to the fact her parents just want an easy life without her and Blue. She doesn’t understand why some people find her sweetness annoying, or why Blue is so against the world. She just doesn’t see it. Her world is seen through rose tinted glasses, and she likes it that way. If she wanted too, everything would snap into perspective instantly. But she likes remaining clueless. It suits her just fine.

Dreamy It’s not odd to see Gracie with an expression that shows she’s in a completely different world. The female drifts in and out of her mind almost hourly and it’s the most pleasant place for her. She walks around like she’s floating, a content grin on her face. It’s pretty hard to snap her out of it too; you sometimes have to shake her. You’ll also have to engage her quickly; otherwise she’ll slip right back into it.

Active This young femme likes to keep herself active. She loves to run and swim, as well as riding, and is also quite the dancer. She keeps herself lean and eats healthily. Basically, she takes care of herself. If she’s not with her horse, you can assure yourself that she’s doing something else active. It’s often than you’ll find her at the pool. It’s one of her favourite places.

Creative Gracie is very musically talented, particularly with her voice. She can play piano, guitar, violin and also harp. She writes her own music and songs and is often tapping a new beat or humming a new tune. While she does most things, she sings. In the car is where she’s at her best, singing her heart out to the radio. It annoys the hell out of Blue. It makes her do it more.

Sly The most negative trait associated with Gracie is that she’s sly. She knows how to get herself out of trouble and shift the blame. She’s very good at it. She does it because she dislikes conflict, and weasels her way out of things. She’s found ways to blame Blue that are so imaginative it stumps him.

Dislikes>> Conflict, crowds, being ignored, her conflict with Blue, cheese and action films.
Fears>> Never reconnecting with Blue and admitting that her parents don’t care.

Secrets>> She stole one of her parents cars a few months ago and crashed it, then blamed it on Blue who took the blame.

It’s the way I’m feeling I just can’t deny

Appearance>> Like Blue, Gracie is tall. She’s nearly 5’11 and holds herself elegantly. She can make herself appear smaller than she actually is with her slender body easy to manipulate. She’s also well-muscled, the faint outline of her abs standing out against her pale skin. Her hair, a beautiful red, is gently curled and immaculate. Much like her brother, she won’t leave until she believes she looks perfect. Not for others, but for herself. She’s been taught to dress appropriately and has the best of everything clothing wise.

Her blue eyes are her most breath-taking feature. Light and sparkling with curiosity and happiness, Gracie can draw many people in with a glance. Unlike her brother, they do not grow stormy. They only really show when she is happy, concentrating or up to mischief. Otherwise, they show very little. In fact, they just become dull. She has light freckling on her face and along her arms which become very pronounced during the summer months.

Full History>> Gracie has always loved her life in Beverly Hills. Under the watchful eyes of her many nannies, Gracie thrived. She picked up riding with her brother, and then moved onto swimming and running. The girl took up music lessons, becoming talented in the art of many instruments. Her parents pushed her, wanting her to make the most of her talents; just like they had with Blue. Gracie thought nothing of it. She never questioned her parent’s motives. She believed that they were just doing the best for her. She still does. That’s why coming to Blue Ridge did not have an ulterior motive to Gracie. She’s just not as cynical as Blue. She just keeps trying to impress her parents, thriving off the brief bits of praise and pride she gains from them.

School was a pleasure for Gracie. She made friends easily, and while some people didn’t like her sweetness and naivety, she still thrived. Lessons were easy. She has never been as smart as Blue, but she worked hard and enjoyed learning. Plus, it helped that Blue used to tutor her, until he pushed her away. The last time they truly spoke properly was when Blue was diagnosed with depression. Since then, Blue has all but blocked Gracie out of his life. When Gracie crashed her parent’s car a few months ago, Blue didn’t even react when she managed to put the blame on him. He didn’t tell on her, he didn’t ask if she was okay. He just didn’t react. It made no difference to him because his parents didn’t matter. Gracie, however, is still clinging onto them. She’s not going to let it go. She’ll make sure they praise her again soon. How? By excelling at Blue Ridge. That’s the only way, so she sees it.

Personality>> Sassy is just plain lazy. She loves to sleep, it’s her favourite hobby. She’ll happily curl up in Gracie’s lap and stay there all day. She’s also very vocal, you always know when she’s around. Her purrs are like a tractor, and her mews demanding. This social and friendly cat is lovely to be around. She just loves company.
History>> Sassy just kind of turned up at the Leakes household as a kitten. Blue had heard crying in the garden and called Gracie out who found the kitten. Sassy immediately became attached to Gracie and the same could be said for her human companion. Since then, Sassy has rarely left Gracie’s side. If Gracie goes to the barn, so does Sassy. Though she’ll sleep while she’s there, she’s just happy to be around Gracie.
