Personality>> First things first, Xander is a fun loving guy. He's the first to join in on a joke, mostly first to start them too, but does struggle settling back down. He's been known to take it too far, and while he feels a little guilty afterwards his usual attitude is to just get over it. This boisterous male doesn't have time to deal with people who take life too seriously.
Xander is a very loyal person and has always had a great sense of team spirit. He takes personal offence when people that he likes and loves are challenged and will step up to defend their honor whether they want it or not. His team spirit is a great asset though, stemming from his many years as a cheerleader, and his team are likely the only people to truly reason with him. But he means well, and he is getting better the older he's getting.
Xander is passionate and not afraid to share his opinions on things that he is interested in. He loves to talk cheer, sports, horses, ranching - all things that he loves. He's also hard to reason with when he believes that he's right. He'll cut a person off if he thinks that they are wrong and isn't very patient with it. Sometimes Xander is a hard person to get along with, but if you can see past the bullheadedness, he's actually a very sweet guy.
Xander's downfall is definitely members of the opposite sex. He's a little girl crazy and isn't one for relationships. His passionate disposition gets him in to trouble here too. He's not a one woman guy, at least not yet, and doesn't believe in being tied down. He's 16! There's plenty of time. But he's a terrible flirt and very secure with himself. He knows that he's good looking, he doesn't need anyone to confirm it. The amount of girls fawning over him is quite enough.
He does struggle intelligence wise, and is much more of a hands on learner. He resorts to joking around in class because he struggles academically. While he tries for a bit, he usually does not succeed and it's frustrating to him. The only motivation he's had to keep is grades up is to stay on the cheer squad and he just manages to scrape by. His parents do not put an emphasis on schooling, Xander is going to take over the family farm one day. So Xander has settled. Just getting by will have to do.

His dusty blonde hair and sparkling blue eyes are attractive features. His well chiseled features are to die for. He gets a lot of attention, he knows he's a handsome guy.
His dress sense is mostly okay. He's usually in workout clothes or well worn jeans and cowboy boots. He is known to scrub up well when needed, but it's not a frequent occasion. He has been blessed with a superior ability to grow facial hair, it came earlier than his peers, and usually has a beard of some sort. Sometimes it can be a little wild but it is usually well kept.
Markings>> Puncture wounds on his right wrist from falling onto a fence when fixing it two years ago. The scars are still pink and slightly puckered.
Medical History>> Xander surprisingly hasn't had any hospital stays during during his life. He's had the odd cuts and scrapes, as well as the puncture wounds that needed to be stitched. He did have chicken pox as a child and the odd cold and upset stomach that any child has.
He does have an allergy to citrus but has never had to be hospitalized for it. He gets hives, a rash and his lips swell if he comes in contact with it.
Full History>> Xander was born in Montana on a warm September day 16 years ago. He is the oldest of five siblings, and the only boy. With four sisters, Xander has always been in line to take over the ranch they were born onto. The massive 1500 acre ranch is home to many cattle, sheep and also some world class cow horses that his parents have trained for many years. All Xander has known is ranch life. It's where he's most comfortable.
Xander attended the local school for many years. His parents have always said that the ranch comes first, so his time at school is usually sparse during the fall with harvest. He also takes weeks off to help with calving, lambing and round up. The only thing that Xander never missed was cheer. He loves the sport - yes, it's a sport - and while his parents do not understand it, they don't care that he participates. It makes him happy, he still pulls his weight at the ranch and he would still take it over at the end of the day. Cheer wasn't a career, they reminded themselves. Xander was still on track with their plan.
This daily routine was fine with Xander for a while. Up until the end of the last school year. He found himself dreading another summer on the ranch. He wasn't sure why, but he needed a change. It was time for him to spread his wings and explore. After lengthy discussions with his parents, they finally decided that he could attend Blue Ridge Academy in Kentucky - under the condition that he would return each break and take a horse and continue to work on his riding skills. Xander jumped at the chance, especially when he saw that the school had an active cheer team. While it was hard to leave his current team, he is excited for his new journey. It was time for him to explore new options. Maybe the ranch life wouldn't be his final destination. Maybe there were other options for him out there.
