A lightly tanned hand darted from the steering wheel to jab at the radio harshly. Finally, silence filled the car causing the male to exhale in relief. He ignored the huff emanating from his sister in the seat beside him and continued to drive carefully, their immaculate black land rover gliding into the town of Blue Ridge. Behind them was an equally spotless silver trailer being pulled, holding two geldings inside. Both had been calm during their two day journey. While the twins could have waited for someone to bring their horses at a later date and for them to fly to Blue Ridge, they'd decided they would rather drive themselves. Blue, in particular, knew he would need Edgar, his Friesian gelding, to help him settle in. He knew that he wouldn't be able to relax until the horse would have arrived. However, both were glad that their destination was finally approaching. It had been a long two days. Blue and his sister, Gracie, were not really on terms that could be defined as friendly. They'd spoken very little to one another. Well, Gracie had spoken at him quite a lot. He just hadn't answered. The brunette was now fed up of being confined in a car with Gracie, who insisted on singing every damn pop song on the radio. It was maddening.
Blue tuned out Gracie's chatter to her feline companion, Sassy, and concentrated on finding the turning for the academy. He knew that the academy was just a place for his parents to rid themselves of Gracie and himself. After they graduated from this place, it would be straight to university. Blue had every intention of going to a school as far away as possible from his parents, but he knew Gracie would stay close. He shook his head slightly at how naive his sister was. When would she just realise that they didn't care? It would stop her from being such a suck up, that was for sure. Blue pushed the thoughts away when he caught sight of the academy's sign and turned to follow the drive way up to the main office. The male paid no attention to his surroundings, he just wanted to sign in or whatever and get Edgar in his stall. Then he would lock himself away in his room. Parking the car, the tall male unfolded himself and got out of the car. He winced as his joints ached from being confined in a similar position for a good few hours. It was around 4pm now and they had been driving since 7am. He stretched slowly and then went around to check on the two geldings while Gracie made sure she had a good hold on Sassy. His lips twitched slightly as he got a soft nicker from Edgar as he opened a window on the trailer. He took that as the gelding was fine. Leaving it open so the pair would have fresh air to circulate, Blue joined Gracie and then fell behind her as they approached the office. He would let her do the talking. She was better at it. Once inside, he stood against the wall closest to the desk. There didn't seem to be anyone manning it. Another sigh escaped him.
