Personality>>
He is a sweet horse, always up for a good grooming or cuddle sesh with Shailie. Pasture time is the most common time he is super high energy, often running laps around the other horses while they graze. Riding time, though, means something completely different. As long as he isn't being micromanaged, Alistair has the time of his life on rides, always taking in his surroundings. Particularly when Shay is on his back, Alistair is a happy go lucky horse and is okay with just going out to wander and when he is in the ring, he gets a bit of a competitive energy boost.
Alistair isn't fond of his mouth being touched and will use his height to get away from you. Particularly when taking a bit, he will pull away or back himself as far away as he can. If you get too heavy handed while riding, Alistair will shake his head, pull on the bit, and even stop walking all together until he is given his head back.
Caution Around>>

Basic History>>
Alistair was born into a pretty easy life. He was trained on an eventing farm and a hopeful prospect. His training didn't get too far off the ground however, when they fell in luck with an already trained horse who was beginning to perform very well. This led to his sale, where he was bounced around to different auctions, until he was found by a trainer in Maine who wanted a young protégé.
Once he was fully trained and started showing, his temperament proved that, while he was still competitive, Alistair would prove better in teaching someone how to ride. That's when, while looking for a horse for their daughter, Shailie's parents stumbled across him.
They bought him for her tenth birthday and with lots of work and determination, Shailie learned how to work with bigger horse and truly become a competitor.
