Sina laughed, "Yes, major mistake. Now you won't get rid of me again." Once they'd disentangled from each other, she smiled up at Luke. Something on the ceiling caught her eye, and she grinned slightly before putting a hand on Luke's chest and put some pressure into it, trying to get him to take a few steps back.

Luke grinned in response to the girl's laughter. "And why on earth would I want to?" he demanded jokingly. But there was more sincerity in his words than he would admit, at least out loud, and he felt somehow warmer when Sina placed a hand on his chest. The girl was stronger than she looked, but then when you spent your free time in hauling horses around, that tended to happen. "Are we going somewhere?" he enquired, stepping back obligingly whilst knowing perfectly well where they were going... he hoped.

Sina grinned impishly at Luke's question, "That's for me to know, and you to wonder." However, he stepped back easily enough - didn't even require much pressure, someone had played the natural horsemanship games! - and Sina kept backing him up until they reached the mistletoe. Acting surprised, she looked up and exclaimed, "Oh, look! Someone put up some mistletoe. I wonder who that was?" But she didn't pursue that question any further and reached up on her tiptoes, further encouraging Luke.
Luke pulled an exaggerated face of terror at the girl's words, although truth be told, he was distracted enough by how attractive Sina looked with that grin on her face that he would have felt very little apprehension even if he hadn't had a strong suspicion of what the girl's aim was in any case. He grinned at her expression of surprise, which rather amused him, and then blinked as it suddenly grew closer. "Well, we've come this far." he mused aloud, tilting his head down to face Sina and allowing her a moment to change her mind.

Sina wanted to smack the boy as he hesitated. Did she have to spell it out? Or just do everything herself? She reached up and closed the distance between them, meeting his lips with her own. She didn't let it drag out too long - Just long enough, but without becoming obscene.
Luke had just decided that no, Sina wasn't going to change her mind, when he received ample confirmation of the fact as the shorter girl's lips came up to meet his; for a moment, he was immobile, still ever so slightly shocked, but he soon came to his senses and reciprocated in kind, with great enthusiasm. For a moment, he was in heaven, and then it was over. The brunet boy looked down at the girl and grinned. "Wow." he said simply. "Can we do that again?" And then, without waiting for an answer, he dipped his head and this time, he kissed her.

Sina had to admit - Luke was a good kisser. So, at least this whole procedure was worth it. She enjoyed his startled reaction, but then quirked an eyebrow at his question, ready with a quip. Luke, however, managed to silence that, this time all on his own, and Sina was all too happy to let it happen.
It felt like it went on forever and yet at the same time it was far too soon when Luke reluctantly decided that if this went on any longer it was going to get weird. Weirder than it was already. Good weird, obviously, because Sina was gorgeous and funny and all kinds of other things and he was happy that she could at least tolerate him for thirty seconds under the mistletoe, but he didn't want to look like one of the couples that you saw at the back of cinemas, and he was aware that there was going to be quite a bit of explaining to do if they went on this way- and he didn't much fancy being forced into it because someone had walked in on them. So, reluctantly, Luke released his lips from hers and looked down once more with a grin.

Sina was just as reluctant to pull away as it seemed Luke was, but finally the thought of someone - worst of all, Andie - walking in on them was enough to cause her to let him pull away, although she met his grin with one of her own. "Well, I think whoever put that up had the right idea."
Luke was rather pleased to find it so difficult to persuade the girl to let go of him; it meant that he hadn't been absolutely terrible and it also meant that perhaps he might be in with a chance. One would have thought that obvious given the events of the last ten minutes, but Luke never took anything for granted if he could help it. "Oh, yeah. Hope they had as much fun as we did." the boy responded, hoping that she wouldn't contradict him in the fun department.

Sina chuckled at that, "I think this," she twirled her finger around in a circle to indicate the two of them, "Is pretty darn hard to beat." She took his hand and pulled him away from the mistletoe, "But I don't want to spoil you too much right away." She grinned impishly at that thought. Luke might be slightly dull in the romantic department, but even he had to be getting the picture now, right?
"I would have to agree with you there." the boy remarked, unable to stop the grin from breaking out over his face even if he had wanted to as he found himself being tugged across the room, which, he supposed, was a nice break from having been pushed across the room earlier. Was this how things were going to go; him being pushed from place to place without quite knowing where he was going and why? Well... He stole a glance at his beautiful housemate. He rather thought that he could live with that. "Not right away, hmm?" the boy repeated her words thoughtfully. He rather liked the sound of this. "Well, I guess I can wait...within reason."

Sina grinned at him, "Nah. Not right now. Maybe eventually, but then again, maybe not. Wouldn't want you getting too used to anything." She was still enjoying his reaction right now to their first kiss. She didn't let go of his hand, but she did stop pulling him as she sat down on the couch herself, "I'll have to keep you keen."
The boy pulled an exaggerated face of mock disappointment as he dutifully followed the girl across the room, seating himself on the couch next to her and giving her hand a squeeze that was so slight as to be almost imperceptible. "Keep me keen?" he repeated, his amusement showing in his tone. "You seriously think you're going to have a problem with that?"

Sina laughed at the boy's response, "Hey, never know. And better safe than sorry." She grinned at him, "But okay, I won't torture you too much." She paused as she realized she'd managed to sit on a soft package, and pulled out the still-wrapped gift that Luke had handed her earlier, before they'd gotten distracted, "Uh... I hope nothing too fragile?"
