Exciting news guys! My parents finally got horses in Canada! Two, with one more a Shetland and a miniature pony who may or may not be in foal to come! Anyway, these are the first two. Both came from a rescue sanctuary.
This is Raffles. She's a bay quarter horse and nine years old. She's apparently very friendly but hasn't had much done with her so she's my project over the summer. (:
And this is Duchess. She's a TB cross mare and quite shy and flighty. Her past owner was too rough with her and when you ride her you have to use voice commands and not your leg as she responds negatively after being bullied by her past owner. She's a sweetheart when she gets to know you though, according to my mum.She needs a lot of TLC as she's a little under weight and just needs some time to get to know people.
