Olivia saw her friend's reaction and grinned, casting another glance at the couch that they had been making fun of. However, she didn't fancy photographing it either, and so the meadow was as good a place as any.
She heard Jayne's words and nodded, glancing at the girl's footwork for the first time, "That would help." She kept grinning as she headed up the stairs, excited by the prospect of another hour or two outside. Luckily it was the weekend, for them to do with as they wished, and she didn't doubt that it would be time well spent. She would be able to check in on Blue and Barcinka later, and make it up to them later with a good, long workout.
Jayne had beaten her downstairs, but Olivia didn't mind. She waited for Jayne to exit with her, then set off towards the Green Hill Trail. As they walked, Jayne asked some questions, and Olivia was quiet for a moment, thinking about the answer, then spoke, "I like lakes, especially with sunrise or sunset, or the pastures are fun. I think my best model that I've ever had was Flash." She thought of the sable dog, "He's my mom's dog, some of my shots of him at training are actually on the front page of our kennel website." She grinned, then slowed her pace as they approached a small fork, "Left or right?"
Jayne put the camera strap around her neck and let the large, and slightly heavy, camera bounce against her chest as she followed the other girl across campus, listening attentively as her questions were answered. She couldn't help but giggle at the reply to the girl's best model. "Flash?" She repeated with another giggle, thinking that the name was good since the canine was a good photography model.
She looked around herself as they walked down the trail, one part of the campus that she hadn't yet had the privilege of getting to know, since she didn't ride, and she was enjoying the stroll. She stopped with Olivia and looked down both paths. She chewed her bottom lip as she looked one way and then the other. "Um... left!" She gave a decisive nod in the direction she had mentioned.
She looked down at her camera. "How do you know what would or wouldn't make a good photo?" She asked. She'd seen a few things along the way that she thought might have been good for photographing, but she was a little afraid of making a fool of herself and just snapping at anything so she hadn't lifted the camera up.
