Personality>> If Ember was to be described with one word it'd be puppy-dog. She follows Meaghan around and always comes up to Meaghan no matter if Meaghan was calling her or not. She is very protective of Meaghan and will get very jealous if another horse comes up to Meaghan. She is very bossy and is the boss mare of a herd. Her one vice is food and treats. Ember can get hurt and will just stand there and let it be treated, so long as her attention is focused on the treats. Ember can also be very pushy towards people, so much so that some consider her a pest at times. Others think that she's rude because she loves treats but she will follow someone around with her ears pinned back if she doesn't get any, or if she knows there are more treats. Meaghan considers her to be sweet but she needs attention and she can also be pushy if she doesn't get her way.
Caution Around>> Spurs, treats/food, other horses (she gets jealous of Meaghan near other horses very easily)

Basic History>> Ember was born on a Morgan farm in southern Maryland. She was let run free for four years, not having anything done with her, until she was traded for an older broodmare.

Ember was then started under saddle and trained by an 18 year old girl. Ember got started under saddle relatively easily, except for the fact that she didn't like to canter and would often rear under saddle. After quite a few months, Ember could be cantered without the use of a crop.

She then stayed at the girl's place for another four years until the girl was done with college. She got a new job and had to sell Ember regrettably as it was overseas. Ember was bought by Kate Callaghan for her niece/daughter Meaghan.

Ember was moved to the barn where Meaghan rode and was a surprise for the teenage girl. The mare got along very nicely with Meaghan and when the family moved to Kentucky Ember was trailered up to Kentucky separately and taken to a new barn. Upon Meaghan's acceptance into Blue Ridge Academy Ember is going to be trailered to the elite academy as well.
